as a person with a few coins in my pocket who lives in Ghana I believe the Ghana property market has lost its mind. almost every property is grossly overpriced. to make it worse because everyone wants to charge "big bucks" for rental and buying it means that getting the majority of the population out of poor living conditions will almost never happen and we will continue to have a perpetual underclass. Also we all know that the value of many homes in Ghana do not reflect the value of the areas. we need to be seriously realistic. I don't mind even paying in dollars but what I'm paying for needs to true to the value of the area and its amenities. Kids cant go out and play, no green spaces, sketchy power, inconsistent water supply are a few hot topics that need to be covered before Ghana can really move to prime african real estate Keep up the good work Tim

Firstly I’m proud of you my Asante brother. I’m 100% Akan too. All your points are valid, I would say just make that trip to Ghana and everything will fall into place thereafter. You need to go and see it for yourself, it will transform your mind.

(African American in Arizona) I did two DNA tests, on my mom's side, I'm 100% Akan, I haven't done my dad's side yet, but from the other DNA test I think it's Nigeria or Benin Togo. I remember Asebu, Ghana was supposed to be $700 USD, for land (living out there in the wilderness, by no stores 🤕) but I heard that the price has gone up, why??? Also, Ghana is like, "come home" "year of return" but what's this I've heard about an African-American waiting 10yrs to get citizenship??? So, the African diaspora were taken from Africa, and have to wait to get citizenship or dual citizenship? So, America is screwing African Americans over by mistreatment and not giving reparations, and it's made difficult for some of the diaspora to get citizenship in West Africa??? I wonder how the ancestors feel about this? But meanwhile Uganda and Kenya are trying to welcome African-Americans or the African diaspora...so my question is, are black Africans still under the thumb of Europeans and Arabs? If not, then why would some one with African ancestry, from the slave trade, have to wait so long to get citizenship or dual citizenship??? Also, the same treacherous people (not all) that African-Americans are trying to get away from in America, Africa seems to just let them in... "EASILY" with no Vaseline.

I see a lot of the diasporans keeps complaining about the infrastructures such as electricity, inconsistent water supply and bad roads. I'm appalled by those statement. Ghana is a developing country and when you hear such statement you wonder why the individuals come to Africa with that mentality. Most African countries were under colonial rule except two for thousands of years. They looted all our precious minerals and enslaved our ancestors to finance and build their countries and wealth for over 400 years. Anyone that wants to move to Africa should remind themselves that most of the countries only regained their independence less than 70 years ago and the colonizes did not build many infrastructures except for the so-called castles and dungeons to profit from these edifices. It took the Europeans and Americans over 400 years and still developing throughout and Ghana which is only 66 years old is no exception. In the next 100 years plus Africa will look amazing and most people will appreciate what we've been blessed with. If you're not ready to be part of the solution then don't come, you just stay where you're most comfortable and appreciate what you have.

Don't waste your time and money in Ghana it is all over price with terrible road and no water and electricity. Stay away from that over price and corrupt place. 😊 Peace

Stop importing things you shouldn’t

Infrastructure is eff up and you want to charge the same as a develop country.. Accra is not like America so please stop with the nonsense explanation… light off bad roads no water and no regulations
