I agree that the number of "labels" is a lot. But in that same context, we label everything. Labeling is just another form of "naming." But, I feel labeling should be utalized, at least with personal identity, as a tool for your own context or understanding. Not a weapon to be used to segregate, divide, stereotype, limit, or hate. Community, in general, is just a group of people with a similar characteristic. Granted, based on the definition, we have communities within the community. Further, I find the context of alley quite humorous at this point as there are so many "definitions" within the "community" that anyone no matter gender or sexual orintation could find somewhere they fit in.

I had nearly the exact same incident when I went to donate blood and I never went back after that. It was absolutely discriminatory and embarrassing when others around me heard.

The no giving blood dates back to the Aids / HIV crisis and you can't blame the Blood service for that. but we have moved on. You are such a good looking caring man Jaks. You do a great job in looking after the gay community and a strong man.

Nice video. Where you are wrong is that being gay is a community. We have more in common than just liking guys. As a community we face certain challenges and other things that anyone outside of the community do not face. For example, if we didn’t face other challenges how is it that gay teens kill themselves more than any other community? Also, being gay does not mean feminine. Cats make the best pets.

Hey, I have a question about my identity. So, I sort of put my gender on “pause” until I can figure out which one I’m most comfortable identifying as. I currently go by they/them pronouns but I’m aware that might change in the future as I get older and figure out my identity. Would this make me nonbinary or genderfluid or maybe something else?

If they have rescinded that blood donation requirement, make sure and then reward that positive behavior by donating as blood is always needed.

I agree with everything you say here - especially the bit how we are all different and we are not a community but individuals. There are things you may like that I don't and vice versa. In the UK for example, I can't stand Strictly Come Dancing and the TV drag shows because I find it repulsive, but I know I am in the minority.
