I made a trans achievement and came out to my mum! I went downstairs this morning and said 'Mum! I'm a boy!' and she just nodded. Then we had a talk.. and yeah! I'm feeling really visible today, thank you Ez!! 💙💙
hey ezra! you might not see this. but i just wanted to say, over 2022-2023 i’ve had a wild sexuality and gender crisis. so much questioning along with a lot of other stuff going on. your videos helped me so much with everything going on. i love your stuff so much and it validated me and made me realize that the thought in the back of mind telling me i could be a guy was true. i thought for a while “i can’t be a guy! i like makeup and skirts!” but being trans has nothing to do with that. thanks so much ezra, have a happy trans visibility day :)
I'm sorry but the obsession with the world valid needs to end. Everything needs to be valid or validated. As a young person feelings about your identity can be very confusing, more so with social media fueling this. People validating that anything you feel or want to believe is valid just helps encourage the delusion. It discourages deeper self work and the journey of finding yourself, because you're always encouraged that whatever you are thinking is valid.
Please don’t fall for this you won’t be a boy and when you realise you’re not its too late look at what happens to the other girls who go too far you will be bald and voice will be deep you don’t see the person on the video i mean look at her this is going to be very sad when she realise it was a mistake then we’ll have a video saying im detransitioning this ez was so good looking before and now this
fun fact: i actually have heard of people who feel stronger attraction to men after going on testosterone or stronger attaction to women after going on estrogen. no idea if it’s some odd effect of the hormones themselves (i mean, hormones ARE weird) or if it’s just the case of realizing and feeling more comfortable with that aspect of one’s sexuality through transitioning. but it’s pretty cool! i’m not on T or anything (yet), but for me, realizing i’m transmasc actually has made me way more comfortable with the idea of being attracted to men, which is something that has always felt quite wrong if it happened in the past.
How old are you? If you're under 20 plz see a therapist first. Enjoy being young and let things naturally unfold. You don't need to be pumping poison into your body. Tik tok and trans influencers have confused the youth.

Speaking on a purely binary idea of gender, I don’t feel like a man or a women, but I don’t feel like a third, I’m just kinda here lol. But I’ll get super intense gender dysphoria some days, like to the level of my body looking different on different days in my eyes. I’m so glad top surgery helped you so much! i kinda get that as a (transmasc) genderqueer. i want to look more masculine for sure but the idea of looking like a cis man with a whole-ass beard and stuff feels wrong too 😅

for the last one i just wanted to point out that ur sexuality TECHNICALLY changes when u transition, but not in the sense where the gender you’re attracted to changes, but the way you label your sexuality for example, a straight amab person might end up finding out they’re a trans woman, and since they were attracted to women before and they are now, that means they’re a lesbian now since they’re a woman attracted to other women. this works the other way around too i feel like the way i worded it is Very confusing but i hope that clears it up. also u can use whatever labels make u comfortable, for example if ur transmasc but u still wanna call urself a lesbian bc ur more comfortable w that, go for it
either way i probably should’ve worded that differently, i don’t wanna make it sound like this theoretical person “became” a lesbian, i just meant that that’s the label that best describes them when they realize they’re a trans woman

A personal rant: I wasn't too sure what dysphoria felt like, I thought I was insecure. For a few years, I've stuck with the label "gender queer". I just realized that I may get dysphoria when my hair gets too long. All I would do is tie it up and not like looking in mirrors or taking selfies. A couple days ago, I did makeup that I liked but still hated the mirror. I got a haircut the same day and now I'm very happy.
Hi ez! You are an inspiration and genuinely make me smile on any day. Heres a story and id love for anyones feedback or help. So i am non binary, my pronouns are they/them. I am in middle school so naturally things are rough. I am born female and present very feminine so it is never a shock when someone uses she/her and i've never gotten in the habit of correcting people. Only 2 people use my pronouns, my sister, my biggest supporter. And my best friend, but i ask of her to not use them around her friend's, as i would be made fun of. So, because of this constant lack of validation, i've literally begun refering to myself as a girl- it sucks. I dont mean to and i hate it when is happens, but when i am constantly being called the wrong thing it gets to me. My parents call me their girl, daughter, anything girly, thats what i am to them. It sucks and i cringe every time it happens, i wish it would stop. I hope in high school i will find more support in my identity.
about the last question, my sexuality did change when I figured out that I am trans. But it changed mostly cos I was more connected to who I am and to my body, and didn't limit myself to my biological sex. SoI guess it can change because you also change the relatonship wih your body. Idk, just what I experienced personally.

I'm so happy to hear you're avoioding bottom surgery! I recieved bladder/urethra surgery for medical reasons and am STILL dealing with some affects and pain. If you have healthy and functioning parts I would always suggest avoiding unnecessary surgeries that come w risk higher than cosmetic procedures. However, as a recovering plastic surgery addict myself...I do understand when there is an overwhelming urge to make your body resemble what you need it to look like on the outside...doctors can be shady, however, and I am glad to see you happy, healthy and well ❤

Hi! So I came out as a trans man to my family and my parents don’t accept it and my sister is supportive of me. But today I went out for dinner with my parents and I wore a tie and button up shirt and i said I looked like a cool man today but my mom said I wasn’t a boy. I dress very masculine and have a buzz cut and I feel so beautiful finally. I live in the us and have a job but I can’t come out as a trans man because even though my coworkers love me some of them are transphobic and homophobic. I feel hurt because I still call myself a girl in front of everyone but it doesn’t feel right to me.
As a trans boy who has multiple trans friends and stuff I have a friend who has a trans bf and she refuses to call me my preferred name and pronouns unless she is mad at me I've told her multiple times to stop an I quote her on this " oh it's fine I'm ur best friend I'm above that" I'm happy to say I'm not friends with her anymore

Hey Ez! I was just wondering if maybe you’re able to answer my question, did you feel weird at first with top surgery and not having to wear a binder anymore or anything to hide your chest or did it just feel very euphoric and it felt like you were actually in the right body for once
I've always dressed up as boys and felt like i NEEDED to be a boy ever since i was four also my fav colour was blue so that might of given a hint. I look at all these men and i think 'you are so so lucky to have the gender you have' i need that low masculine voice. I need that bulky body. I need that broad frame and big bones. I want to relate. I want to have to buy shaving cream. The excitement of the thought of being a boy fills my heart with joy and then i look down and see my chest. Hear my voice. See my hair and face. Look at my hips and bones. The sound of my mother crying when i first told her i wanted to be a boy the sound of her voice saying "you're mentally ill" to me. So i just lie in my bed and hope one day..one day i might be a boy. But Ezra has helped so much! He taught me there's nothing wrong with me! I WILL get therapy. I WILL tell them how i feel. And hopefully i might become the man i always wanted to be. Thank you Ezra! Hopefully I'll become the most confident boy 🏳️⚧️

the last question, how doesn’t it affect your sexuality? if someone was born female and they were a lesbian but then identified themselves as transgender and even medically transitioned to male, how could they be a lesbian? they aren’t a woman??
I've been on testosterone for a year and 7 months it was one of the greatest moments of my life I'm still waiting for top surgery my doctor told me to lose 50 pounds before I'm eligible for top surgery I'm almost there just another 10 pounds to lose

Not trans but what I hear generally is that she'd be considered straight because he's a dude. Same thing if a guy likes a trans girl, it's not gay because she's a girl
I mean it can, but that’s mainly when one is questioning. Like me, for example. I first thought I was bi, but then I realized that I’ve never really felt attraction in that way, so I thought I was aroace. Then I realized that I think I still feel romantic attraction, but not very much, so I came to the conclusion that I was gray-biromantic and asexual. However, I’m still questioning. There’s also abrosexual (I think that’s what it is) where one’s sexual attraction changes, sometimes frequently and sometimes not so.
if you’re in the USA i’m pretty sure you can get it at 16-17 but you need parental consent until you’re 18 (though i’m not 100% sure this is correct!!)

I’ve known two trans people who went from lesbian to gay (or vice versa) after transitioning. That blows my mind, but the transition must have something to do with changing their sexuality, right?
Lesbians taking testosterone are not and will never be men. They are women on testosterone. If such lesbians are attracted to men they are heterosexual or bisexual.
