For me it is the best solution for the price (Belgium). The direct shipping to skip customs is a big plus!

I've bought roughly 90% of my quad-related stuff from Banggood (and a 3D printer!). Up until now I've had minimal issues with them. Like you say, it makes the hobby easier to get into (I only started last June). My one gripe at the moment is that a lot of the stuff they sell I can't get shipped to the UK. I don't know if that's general shipping issues, or Brexit related. As long as you understand that there's likely going to be a reasonable amount of time between you clicking "Buy" and getting the items through your door, then I have no qualms using them. Others would say you should try to buy local to support the hobby shops where possible ... and I'd like to, but sometimes I can't afford to pay full-whack on something in this hobby! I see other RU-vidrs also using Banggood, or at least sharing their discount codes (Bardwell, Andy-RC, Painless360 to name a few)

Man that's really interesting because when I started flying freestyle on 6s, as soon as I got used to the throttle after a few packs I felt way more confident then I did on my 4s quad. That totally might have been part of the reason for it.

Yup that's all you have to change. I just used the same xing motors. I think they're reasonably priced and really durable. I'd say experiment with whatever motors look good to you though!

Yeah unfortunately the V1 goggles were discontinued a while ago. Seems super weird to stop producing them so early before the new ones come out but it seems that's what happened. Current predictions are saying the new ones will be released this month... But who knows.

@@MattPochwat You must have made some calls on behalf of viewers. Two days ago I got a pre-order notice from RDQ and it looks like a few of the companies are now taking pre-orders to be shipped "after chinese new year." At least they are coming!

Yup! As people mentioned in the comments too, apparently you can buy 6S batteries and just limit the motor output of your 4S quad in betaflight to have them spin slower. I've never tried that though so I can't confirm if it will give the exact same performance. Maybe someone else can confirm that?

Does the power reduction increase efficiency, therefore increasing flight times substantially?

The motor output limit is a bit less efficient than just buying motors of the correct kv for 6s. 6s is just inherently more efficient than 4s, giving it the increase in flight time. Maybe you should check if your motors or props are spinning the wrong way

@@quadexpo8620 i checked they are spinning in correct way but i arranged motors reverse configuration (x) that is top left should be clockwise where as i arranged it in ccw Is that what causing problem???

All I changed was the motors. The other electronics in the Nazgul are rated high enough to support the voltage of 6S batteries

@@MattPochwat sounds great! But tell me of my thought process was right: since i see my drone struggling with a full size gopro8, filters and all the tpu, i thought switching to 6s will give me more power and thrust. Am i right or the cell count doesnt matter for this purpose?

@@Theo-mb2dd The nazgul5 4s shouldn't struggle with a GoPro on it. It definitely will feel much heavier than without it though. That being said, you will get more thrust and power using 6s

I have! I started with bnf quads though. I learned a lot bit by bit as things broke and had to be fixed. Repairing the Nazgul is the same as any other quad I guess. What part of fixing it are you curious about?

@@MattPochwat I have yet to get my first drone. Someone told me it's best for a noob to build their own drone first. Guess the thought process is you're more familiar with how it's constructed. They also implied BNFs are 'expertly' built, and harder for my noob skills to repair.

@@ActionMediaAndy I think both method are totally fine as long as you realize that one day you will have to learn how to fix everything. The bnf quads I've used these days were all very well built. Way better than I could do myself when I was starting out. I personally liked learning how to fix everything one step at a time as things broke. It made the whole process much more enjoyable to me

look up if your components can handle the voltage... easy.

The components in the Nazgul can handle up to 6S voltage. If you change the motors you will be good to go

I forget that RU-vidrs have to consider people internationally. Banggood is probably the best choice for them. Here in the US, I prefer to buy from a US distributor.For the couple of dollars you [might] save, it is worth it to me for the faster, and usually free, shipping.Many of them offer affiliate programs. They are usually fairly small businesses also, which I like to support.

I struggle getting batteries shipped to me. CNHL has been the only company that I've been able to get batteries from recently.

I highly doubt that's true. We all have our own strengths and weaknesses though and some things may take time. Like my boy Dwayne Johnson always says, "Hard work is a great substitute for talent".
