7:00 The "recovery fee" is a hidden fee that a lot of people do not appreciate (rightfully so). If you're on the "$15" a month plan an extra 2 bucks a month is significant on a percentage basis. And before you say that everyone charges these fees, they don't. It is not a tax. It is just additional revenue for the carrier.

2::00 This is sketch advice. The phone has to be compatible with the T-Mobile network AND it has to be unlocked. Most phones at Walmart are locked to a specific carrier

Activation fees are designed to discourage people from porting their numbers from one carrier to another. You should not pay it. If they won't waive the action activation fee then go with a different carrier

I pay $120 for 4 lines on t-mobile. If I switch my price goes down but that’s only temporary, right? After 3 months I’ll be paying the exact same amount I was paying with t-mobile.

Not having had a cell phone before (just land lines for me) I wonder what happens at the end of your paid for period. Do they tell you your service period is almost up? Do they auto-charge your at your currently selected plan or do you have to go to the web site and order an additional 3/6/12 months? Thanks.

They’ll send you an email letting you know when your service will stop. If you’re enrolled in auto pay than it’ll automatically charge you and your service will continue

Neither. Mint doesn't offer service for Smartwatches. Instead, you can still use bluetooth but if you want to have cellular and share your phone number with your watch, not gonna happen on Mint.

I signed up, doesn't work no matter what I have tried and Mint support has auto-hung up on me 9 times now.....10th time 65 minutes waiting ...and live agent promised agent and sent me back to silly virtual bot. Will Mint chat hang up on me a 10th time today? Give it a few minutes. So far no cell service and no support service. Yup, just hug up on me for the 10th time after waiting for another 75 minutes...of typing something each minute to keep the chat window open. THAT's a crappy scam.

I hope you were able to get this resolved. If you were just signing up with a new number you can dispute the charge with your credit or debit card company. Actually you can and should do this regardless but if you ported a number and it's being held hostage you may need to file a complaint with the fcc in order to recover your existing number.
