Great video, thank you. Am moving toward getting a mac mini as my custom audio pc is now almost 10 years old and I can't face the move to Windows 11. So, moving to mac. This has convinced me to get the mac mini even more
Think I'm gonna stick with Distrokid for my future originals and see how much CDBaby charges to copyright the cover songs. I'm trying to use Routenote for the covers but they are superslow. Had em up for over a week and still not approved yet. Distrokid was slow to approve the first one too but after that they got through fast.
What's the best thing to get for voice recording and processing? Absolutely silent (good for recording) Air on M3 chip or more productive (enough for DAW and plug-ins) Pro on M3 Pro chip? I'm going to use an external audio interface, external monitor, so the number of connectors in the Air is frustrating, but for sound recording the complete silence is very appealing. And it seems that the performance may be enough too.
Planning on using ableton for producing mainly dnb/garage, I'm debating getting a refurbished M1 Pro or biting the bullet and getting an M3 pro, what would your thoughts be
If you loved Gore when you first heard it, then that says a lot. Trust yourself. You like the album. Maybe, like a lot of people you’ve been brainwashed into thinking you don’t/can’t like it by hive-mind chatroom sheepies in an echo chamber of meaningless blather - it’s like some Invasion of the Bodysnatchers sh*t. Trust your own opinion. Gore is very good. And it’s not a mess; it flows well. SNW is conspicuously the mess of the Deftones discography, even though it has a few great songs (Cherry Waves being one). And no, Mein is not good lol. It looked like you’re trying to convince yourself it’s good, lol, from how you said it, but I think you know it’s just a nothing-fart of a song, lbr. :p
It depends on what you mean by "big session", but in my use case, where I'm producing more pop-rock, rock and instrumental music, the m2 pro Mac mini with 16 gigs of ram has been great for me. M1 is great, but not sure how it will handle large sessions.
What do you think i should get if i just want to mainly focus on vocal production for toplining? Im no pro but i want to be efficient enough that it doesnt frustrate me too much because im not good with technology. I use logic, it's plug ins, izatope and a mic and audio interface. Im leaning towards macbook pro m3 16gb memory or the air m3 16gb memory im so bad at deciding though. Im trying not to spend too much but it it a guess not too much difference
If you're okay with the price difference, go with the pro. If budget is a concern, a MacBook Air m3 should be just fine for what you're doing. Again, do your own research, but that's my opinion.
Another great video would love to see you do a video on Tello and copare it to Mint mobile and see what you think as i feel what i have figured out you will see a better price overall with Telli both owned by T-Mobile and piggy back off their network Kraig from Washington State
Great job on the video would love for you to do a video on Tello as it's also owned by T Mobile as well and has a more flexible price and plans than Mint mobile and has 60 + countries not just Us Canada and Mexico thanks Kraig from Washington State
if u recording vocals get the air caus fan noise can be an issue even if the pro is pretty quiet its not completely silent and good microphones are very sensitive to noise
Yeah, that fact is keeping me from deciding between Air or Pro. I'm choosing it for voice recording. Air is silent, but will the performance be enough for long voice recording and then processing in Aidition, RX ect... I don't know.
@@olexiisokolov trust me the air’s performance will probably never let you down, hell i’m using RX9 on a very old hp laptop with a bad processor and it kinda works so i’d imagine an m1 / m2 air would be more than enough for your needs
The name of this misleading video is "HOW TO install mint mobile's e-Sim." And this is a LIE. Because NO WHERE in this video do YOU actually walk through the process step-by-step of installing an e-sim. Instead, you waste time telling us what an e-Sim is (Something we already know which is why we're on RU-vid looking for an install video), and then waste more time telling us about your phone switch from iPhone 13 to 15 and back to 13. (Which is totally irrelevant.) Finally, 25 seconds from the end of this three minute waste of time, you say "Make sure you follow the instructions step-by-step that Mint Mobile walks you through when you're on the app." Something you DON'T show in this video. Which makes this video useless for ACTUALLY explaining HOW TO install an e-sim.
So many stellar points. I really liked the video. But he was just charismatic not informative. I was reading the comments because I bought two phones on the same account. Trying to find out how to hook up the second phone from the first account.
Never in my life have I had such a horrendous experience with mint mobile first of all they had no problem taking $219 from my credit card and yet they couldn't find an order number for me neither a confirmation of the payment now my credit card is on hold because these stupid people are so incompetent that they can't even figure out that my card was compromised NEVER again Not to mention that for 4 days I had to repeat myself over and over again to these people
