Is there a pre-nursing club at College Park open to students taking the UMD nursing prerequisite courses who previously took some prerequisites classes at community college?
I don’t recommend working an on-campus job your first year so that you can acclimated to your schedule and environment. However, you can work as a receptionist at Stamp, Eppley, and Nyumburu. There are multiple positions with the orientation group. You can become a tutor and there are multiple ways to become one and multiple organizations that offer tutoring (Writing Center, OMSE, and AAP). You can also work at the gym as like helping people with equipment.
