You really pulled through with this video! As a past Dorchester resident I can assure ya'll if there's any North Hill traditional style dorm you want to get placed in, especially as a freshman, it's Dorchester. There's AC, the doors lock automatically, there's a full kitchen, laundry room, the bathrooms are huge and always kept really clean, the RA's are super chill, and THERE'S A BALCONY!! Plus the dorm size is really small so you can get to know each other very quickly. In the basement there's a tv and couches and there's a ton of study rooms as well. Essentially, the building is newly renovated, it has the best location (it's across from stamp, up the block from the health center, and right behind McKeldin Mall), and because it's the dorm for Global Communities there's a ton of diversity.

I would recommend living in a dorm that is close to the cs building. On North Campus the Cambridge community is probably the closest you would get to the cs building.
one of my biggest issue was the size of the shower stalls. the shower stalls are different depending on what floor you are on. the shower stalls on the floor i lived on were super small and not spacious. so i would go to a different floor to shower and i preferred those stalls 100% over the shower stalls on my floor
