I didn't know what to expect from the movie or post credit scenes but I ended up really liking it I hope everybody else will enjoy it too and I was surprised by the Loki post credit scene
My favorite post credit scenes of any MCU film. I lost it when they started. So hype for what's to come. And I loved the film. Not perfect. But a hell of a start to phase 5. I had a feeling general audience would like this more than the critics. And loved so many aspects of this film. The science, the world building, and Kang. Kang rules. Aye, I don't love all aspects of the film. But it worked for me.
Yeah the audience definitely liked it more than the critics. On RT the audience score currently is at 86%. Overall not the greatest MCU movie but not the worst. Overall enjoyable, good to watch in the theaters than again on Disney+, I give it a 7/10.
I can give it a respectful 7/10. An argument can be made for 8 to 8.5. 😂 the more I think back on those post credit scenes the more I raise my number for the film overall. Loved it
After watching the movie, it seems that the people who disliked or even hated it were expecting this to be something that it never was going for and couldn't enjoy what they were giving us
@@JoeRitner Peyton Reed said he didn’t want to be the Pallet Cleanser movie after a big avengers movie anymore and wanted to be the avengers style movie. Never said it was an avengers level movie. Just that he wanted the stakes and feel and Atmosphere basically of an avengers movie. 🤷♂️ people hear little quotes and add their own crap to it and before you know it, we have an entire swath of people expecting an Avengers movie inside an Ant-Man film. I mean it’s ridiculous. I feel they most definitely delivered on making it feel more grand and epic in scope. It feels like an Avengers level movie for me. But thankfully all film is subjective because it’s art. And art in all its forms is subjective and each person has their own way of experiencing it.
Just got out of my screening. I actually really enjoyed the movie. I think it sets up exactly what it’s suppose to and is an entertaining ride. I think MODOK was done dirty but that didn’t really bother me too much with how well Kang was set up.
I dont understand the critics, including your early non spoiler reaction. For me its one of the best MCU movies post covid era. I have been followed you since your channel was only 30k subs, for 1st time I kinda disappoint with your early reaction since its not what its like, I give this movie 9/10
Just saw it in 3D4DX and honestly one of the best movie experiences I’ve ever had. I’m a huge comics and MCU fan, and I just don’t understand all the hate this film is getting. Went in to see it for what it was, and I was blown away. Jonathan Majors brings Kangs’ comic demeanor to the screen and it was beautiful to see. I didn’t mind the story at all as it done exactly what this film was suppose to do. Gotta let Marvel build and continue to introduce these new characters. I hope all the complaining doesn’t ruin everything going forward
The highlight was Jonathan Majors’ Kang, I freaking love how he always tries to keep his cool but you’d see how angry he is from time to time. Excited to see Kang again.
Me and my staff at work had a great time... I genuinely don't understand why everyone is saying it's bad... it wasn't bad at all... 7 out of 10 and a good start to phase 5.
its cuz ppl are just weird. They have unnecessary high expectations of marvel studios even though they have released mediocre to good marvel movies before.
@@dwrcrawford Yeah I'm saying 9/10, maybe 8.5/10 only because they had Cassie do too much in the 3rd act when she had the monologue over Kang and he said kill her i thought, yes please thank god at that point lol. But overall the movie was amazing and imaginative to me. There really isnt anything else like it.
Dude I loved the movie! The action! The fight scenes! Jonathan majors was fantastic, Paul Rudd did phenomenal as well. They portrayed their characters so well. The seriousness of this movie was well needed. Wasn’t too much of any unnecessary comedic lines like thor love and thunder. My only complaint was MODOK being good at the end. But some how I feel he’ll be returning and not so nicely. Thrilled to see Loki again of course. Overall rate this movie 8.5 out of 10.
Loved it, felt like a return to the avengers set up movies and a villain to carry us over 2 more phases at the same time, instead of setting up the avengers and than introducing thanos over 3 phases. Looking forward to see what comes next.
When I saw the counsel of Kang I lost my mind! Also, wasn’t expecting a Loki season two clip for the second post-credits scene, when I saw it, I flipped out! I’m so excited! Unlike what you said that both post-credits scenes were not equally important, I actually think the two scenes were equally important since Loki is the basis for Secret Wars/The Multiverse.
The movie was awesome! Seeing the Council arriving was awesome! I think the Kang we saw in Ant Man and The Wasp: Quantumania becomes the Beyonder Kang for Avengers: Secret Wars.
I hope that the Kangs stay after the Multiversal Saga, because Kang is *NOT* a "one-and-done" villain, and it would be great to have an enemy who can come back and it would make sense.
Boy am I glad I didn't let "reviewers" spoil this for me. This movie was fantastic. Drops right up there into the top 10 MCU projects for me. Absolutely loved it.
I would like it if Kang just has major upgrades, like the Council of Kangs coming together and one is like, "We don't stand a chance against these Avengers." And another version of Kang is like, "Then it's time to change that !" And then it is like Kangs going around the Multiverse and getting things, like Hulk's Blood, Super Soldier Serum, Heart Shaped Herd, Goblin Formula, Infinity Stones, Cosmic Cubes, Spider-Man things, and things like that, and Kang being very intelligent, he can improve them to work for him, and there are a bunch of Kangs taking that stuff, and maybe Kangs going back in time or whatnot and changing events to include them, like Kang goes back in time and kills off Steve Rogers and takes his place in the Super Soldier Serum experiment, or goes back in time and takes out Peter Parker and takes his place being bitten by the radio-active spider, and going back in time and taking out Carol and taking her place in order to get Captain Marvel powers, things like that, when he puts himself in the place of certain individuals like both Heroes and Villains to gain powers, like the Living Laser and things like that, and maybe some versions of Kang combine powers, like Super Soldier Serum and Goblin Formula combined, or Super Soldier Serum and Spider-Man powers combined, or Super Soldier Serum and Heart Shaped Herb combined, or Hulk powers and Super Soldier Serum combined, or Hulk and Spider-Man powers combined, or one of him makes himself a Hulk and then goes back in time to achieve Captain Marvel's powers on top of that so it is like this Cosmic powered Hulk with advanced futuristic technology and fighting skills, just off the rail stuff that makes the Kangs so Over Powered, and maybe some Kangs actually integrates his technology into him, like becoming a cyborg so that no one can separate him from his technology, and maybe some cyborg Kangs have the Infinity Stones built into them, or some Kangs upload their consciousness into advanced futuristic robots so that they have all of that power and constantly uploading his consciousness into other devices and robots and things like that to always have that power, and the Kangs just get a bunch of upgrades and become Mega Over Powered even more than they already are. Like: Kang with Captain America's powers = Kang Supremes Kang with Hulk's powers = Kang Omegas Kang with Spider-Man's powers = Kang Strives Kang with Heart Shaped Herb = Kang Krawlves Kang with Goblin Formula = Kang Olgamecks Kang with Captain Marvel's powers = Kang Cosmosises Cyborg Kangs = Kang-drallopestials Robot Kangs = Clock Master/Toaill (pronounced "Toll")/MieClock Works/Sta-strum/Plo-Stream...etc. (All these names because of different personalities and personas, like Immortus and Rama-Tut, and things like that, because Imagine a giant golden robot, like 8 foot 9 inches, with like a rounded sparical chest area with a lower body, legs and arms like a robotic transformers toy, and a golden face that resembles Kang, with a golden clock on his head, like built in, and his robotic limbs can harness chronological energy so he can just summon stuff by pointing or raising his hands, and other abilities like anti-gravity technology so he can levitate stuff and fly, and the clock on his head had hands that turn and he travels through time like that, and another one where it is the same golden kind of thing, but with no arms and legs, it mainly just floats there, but has like a golden arua or kind of a translucent sparkly golden energy where his arms and legs should be and that energy can turn into constructs, like where his legs would be, he can make tentacle constructs, and he can turn his arms into drills and swords and chainsaws and buzz saws and more tentacles and more anti-gravity technology so he can levitate stuff and fly, and things like that, and on this one's head is like a rounded golden thing like a rim that connects fron one side of his head to the other, like where his ears would be, and there is like spacing there, it's not all on top of his head, just like those outer parts, and there is like Chinese symbols on them, like maybe the numbers on a clock in a different language, and they glow when he time travels, and things like that that would just seem cool with his different designs and the different powers that they have) Tell me what you all think.
I really enjoyed seeing the MCU take on MODOK. It felt unique and although it was goofy at times, I felt myself wanting more. Kang was totally badass and the mid ctedit scene had my theater energized. Definitely had a great time with this film.
I loved the movie, I don’t get why the rotten tomato score is low. The ending felt fine to me, but I’m confused why the writers framed it like Janet had such a big dark, terrible secret past around Kang. Her actions were understandable and she made the correct choices under the circumstances. The way her and Bill Murray were carrying on I thought she murdered a ton of innocent people herself.
@@SuperOmnicronsj44 The reason why Janet didn’t explain anything from the start is because she’s been traumatized by the Quantum Realm. We literally see this in the beginning of the movie. Just because you don’t like the fact that she didn’t explain anything doesn’t make it bad writing
@@SuperOmnicronsj44 I disagree because telling it up front would have eliminated the suspense too early. It helps keep the audience wondering and interested. If this happens too early, the movie would been flat. Instant gratification doesn’t work well in well written movies. Something has to create suspense.
Oh my god i loved it , Especially with Kang it just made the movie so much more hyped . Had lots of good parts , but had some not good parts either . All in All rate it a 7/10.
I love how comic accurate the suits are, but Scarlet centurion is blue for some reason lol. Also I wonder how long the kangs can work together before fighting each other for supremacy.
I watched the movie and it was so so amazing movie. As a general audience and fan, it was a perfect. It had many good aspects. The world building, relationship between Cassie and Scott is wonderful, JONATHAN MAJORS IS KANG !!! WOW CAN'T WAIT TO SEE MORE OF HIM. The story between Janet and Kang is good. POST CREDITS ARE OUT OF THE WORLD !!! DON'T MISS THEM I just wished the movie a bit longer and more of Hope. I think she lacked screentime !! ALL IN ALL, A GREAT WAY TO START PHASE 5
I saw it twice today. Post credit scenes were amazing. First time I saw it. I don't think there was more than 20 people in the theater with me so there was very little vibe and I don't like seeing films that way and I enjoyed it but I had the feeling there was too much. Then in the evening I saw it with a sellout crowd and it was definitely a Marvel crowd and I enjoyed it much more than the first time cuz I could feel people feeling what was going on. I thought everybody did a good job in their performances, especially Jonathan majors and Michelle Pfeiffer. And of course, Scott and Hope and Cassie have always been the heart of the franchise. As someone said, not perfect but I enjoyed it very much and would say I loved it.
Hey Warren! I totally liked this movie, and way more than part two which just went in circles literally over and over with the damn chase scenes and predictable shit… this movie was good! I feel people will generally feel the same! KANG was great, the Quantum Realm was great, Scott and Cassy and I keep forgetting Michelle Phifer… were all awesome! The detail, the creativity and development… all the hard work MARVEL and everyone else put into this movie should be appreciated and I do! 8/10
This movie was not nearly as bad as people were trying to say! It wasn’t anything spectacular, but it was definitely enjoyable! A true wacky, silly, comic book film that stayed true to the Ant-man Character! 7\10 👍
I didn’t have expectations regarding comics Easter eggs and cameos, and I enjoyed the film. I thought it was a beautiful family story plus the quantum world was beautiful. It was a great introduction of Kang as this manipulative and malevolent entity.
This is pretty awesome movie I’m glad that this is setting up kang in the future and the post credit scene definitely got me hype & excited especially seeing Loki in the post credit setting up season 2 great way to start phase 5
the movie was fine for the most part. the main cast is great as usual. J Majors especially, he was fantastic. while Kang himself wasn't really the new-Thanos as we were hoping from this movie, he was decent enough for the movie and I loved every scene he was in🔥 Kathryn Newton did a decent job, wish they could've kept Emma Fuhrmann, but Kathryn did fine too🤷♂. the action sequences were pretty good, mainly the fight between Scott and Kang, that was the best one, I enjoyed how wacky and weird the Quantum realm civilizations are, it's pretty fun, and yeah Credit scenes were worth the price of admission alone because they were both pretty dope. I wish Kang had more screentime though, (I mean he had more screentime than Gorr that's for sure lol, but I wish we could've seen More MORE of him just because he was such an onscreen delight.) Bill Murray also should've had more scenes imo, I wish that one freedom fighter guy didn't die, I liked him the most out of the other ones. was actually lowkey sad about that lol. and if there was anything I did Hate about the Movie, it was definitely MODOK. not his design, it's prefect and just as goofy lookin as I'd want it to be. but I hated how they used his character. it started off fine at first, but they leave him off in the shittiest way. and it really annoyed me. like they did MODOK dirty in this💀. but to be fair, maybe some other Variant of MODOK out there could make up for what Peyton did to this version. 😕 Personal Rating: 7/10
@@SuperOmnicronsj44 this film wasn’t boring, it did everything it was supposed to do. the only issue for me was that we didnt get to see alot of present kang.
@@icybankzoof1255 bro click that mans account and read some of his recent comments. One of his comments he’s complaining that Kang is black. This dude is a racist none of his opinions matter
Last time scot was there in quantum for 5 mins and there was 5 years of time difference in real world. This time they went there meet others, fight kang amd lots of things happen But the old man in the cafe remains same age and literally no clue of time changes. But despite the ratings, the movie deliver good and interesting new things to look at. ❤️Marvel. The best nostalgic for my old age.
That's because the City we see in this is beyond Void. If you stuck before the void like Scott did in 2nd movie, the time passes differently there as compare to the city we saw in this one.
@@aaswinbhujel1313 Janet was in the city for 30 years, same city where they all trapped in this movie for few hours of events. Scott in 2nd movie stuck somewhere in the void which is altogether a different place where time occurs at a different rate.
@@aaswinbhujel1313 the quantum realm is an entire universe. Different places in the quantum realm time works differently, just like in our real life universes time works differently on other planets. Time works differently in different parts of the quantum realm. They explain this in the movie, it’s why they didn’t die because they were beyond the void
Awesome Video Warren!!! OMG THIS MOVIE WAS AMAZING!!!!!! I LOVED IT SOOOOOO MUCH!!! I've always Been a Huge fan of Ant-Man and This was Definitely not just My Favorite Ant-Man Movie, But one of My Favorite MCU Movies!!! All The Characters were Great! Paul Rudd was as Always Fantastic as Ant-Man! I actually thought MODOK was pretty cool, Kathryn Newton did a Great job with Cassie And Jonathon Majors was Incredible as Kang!!! Also Those Two Post Credits Scenes were Amazing!!! Definitely some of My Favorites in The MCU! THIS MOVIE WAS SOOOOOO AWESOME!!!!!! Woof Woof!
Jonathan Major did a phenomenal job as Kang the Conqueror 💯❤️😘.The movie is good I don't know why critics are disliking this but let me tell you they are misleading us audience. The post credits are completely insane here🤯📈.
Just watched the movie and i really really enjoyed it! I dont know why some people is saying that its awful. Its not perfect, it has some plot holes, but for me its a solid 7 out of 10, and it does a great job setting up whats coming.
I reallllly enjoyed this, After phase 4, I was a bit jaded and went in with little expectation. Jonathan Majors was excellent and I can't wait to see more of him, and overall I want to see the MCU moving forward.
he did great but in the way a great actor lets other actors have their moment..and that actor is none other than MICHELLE FREAKING PFEIFFER...she was on point..with conveying anxiety, breathing, awareness, and compassion...she was the perfect foil for KANG.
This was the best MCU film since End Game IMO. I think the pacing was perfect, right to the point, didn't have a bunch of BS that doesn't matter.I thought the length was where it needed to be. We are going to be seeing A LOT of Kang, so this was a nice touch on Loki. And it really showed the brutality of KANG. I loved that they used the fact that Jonathan Majors was training for Creed III and showed it when he beat the living day out of Scott Lang. IT was so good. I missed the supporting cast members though.. Hope they get brought back for a future film. The humor was also right on point, Paul Rudd just really cares about this character and it shows. Also the introduction of an older Cassy Lang was done super well. I was shocked someone didn't die in this movie though.. Also it was nice seeing Loki at the end. I think this movie will hold its place. It's definitely the BEST THIRD SOLO movie for any character minus civil war (but really isn't that just another avengers movie lol). I really just think it shows how important Hank Pym is to the MCU as a whole. Because Kang, being as smart as he is, needed Pym Particles.. Thanos... pym particles.. so on and so forth.
I gotta say, after watching it last night, those negative reviews are wrong. I liked this movie and seeing Johnathan Majors play Kang? BOY. He’s perfect for the role.
Kang really stole the show in this film. Also spoiler warning I like how they teased Secret Wars even more with the talk of incursions and set up Loki S2
The Conqueror was part of the head of the council. The other ridge his ship when they were all going through the realm so he would be stuck there. Very smart of them.
What would have happened if the writers changed the script of this movie and there was a post credit scene of this movie showing Modok escaping the Quantum Realm to go back to normal universe so that he could take Aldrich Killian's place as the head of A.I.M(Advanced Idea Mechanics) just like George Tarleton did in the Comics?
This film did a great job at establishing Kang and his threat to the multiverse, it gave just enough while leaving us wanting more which is what it should be doing because this was literally the first film of Phase 5 people need to calm down and just enjoy the film.
To be honest, I enjoyed this installment more than the first two. People will have to go watch Loki and watch the last Ant-Man to understand what's goin on in this film.
This film was very good. A slow start as they begin to establish characters and their current/recent situations, back fill what's happened, etc. In many ways, the first half had forgone a lot of humour (it was still there, just not as much, or it was all from Scott, where before we'd have it from many characters). The setup for the rest of the saga, I think, was amazing. I can not wait to watch what comes next.
Absolutely loved the movie. It’s one of the best marvel has released in a few years. But the only thing missing from the movie was Hera, Ezra, Kanan, Sabine, Zeb and captain Rex lol. Very Star Wars feeling and it made it total different but that MCU feeling at the same time
Remember when tony and steve had to travel back in the 90's just to get another tesseract and pym particles? What if tony also traveled in another timeline where he faced kang into the future, what if he already faced kang and then at the same time returned to the point where steve and tony arrived in their destination? Remember the easter egg set for kang in the time travel machine within it? What if that was the case why tony said that "if you messed with time it tends to mess back"?. I dont wanna ressurect tony as if his death was absolute in the universe, but if he does return, maybe in this way, is the closest way.
I liked it. I was excited for it's release, became a little depressed that it wasn't going to live up to the hype, but after seeing it thought the movie critics were overanalyzing things. And, damn! I don't think there's anyone on the planet who looks as good at 64 as Michele Pfeiffer does! Been in love with her since the 80s!
Just saw it earlier with my daughter. We both loved it! Majors was flawless! I kept thinking the post credit was going to be something about Shang Chi and his 10 rings. They are very similar to Kangs rings. Excited for GOTG3 next 🙌🏻😀
It's also kind of interesting to see a comic picture where there's a lot of Kangs in a Coliseum exactly like the post-credits. That's insane like words can't describe how awesome that is
I don’t know why people didn’t like it, like how else were they going to establish Kang’s variants are the threat like this is literally point of the saga and this was literally an introduction to Kang
I heavily enjoyed the movie and Jonathan Majors as Kang is Kang indeed, couldn't picture anyone else playing him after that performance 👏🏾. At the end of the day it is a Ant-man movie and I liked it, a 7/10 for me 👌🏾
Now I heard about this character from a previous video for the next post credit scene I tell you I did not see that coming so it's a nice set up a nice segue to season 2 of Loki so that's where we pick up from. I will say from now this was a great start to Phase 5 and it has me excited for the rest.
Yeah I noticed that they entered in a similar way to Reed Richards that was really cool. Sometime soon I hope we can get to see a video where people can break down exactly who was who which Kang was which. Cuz I only know the main three sort of. Well two honestly
I just got finished watching it twice today for the first time and really enjoyed it. I had no expectations going into except watch a good story and I was satisfied with it. The first post credit scene with the Council of Kangs did get ruined for me but the second with Loki was an awesome surprise! I am really looking forward to S2!
I think for what the movie is supposed to lead into I think it was a good movie, not great or amazing. I would have liked a tiny bit more of Kang fights but other than that I was pleased with it and what it sets up for the future of the MCU
I think with the conclusion of IW & EG, the MCU films had a fast pace. Since then, there seems to be a lot of kickback from many fans that can not get used to a slower pace as this next saga builds up. I, for one, enjoy the character development and stories being told, as well as the variety of different ways they have expanded to do that. Too many fans get set into a format that they feel all films and TV series should be made in and then hate anything else.
Loki being & having the wisdom that he does, what if in Loki season 2 his plan is to make sure Victor Timely becomes Immortus, but tells him do not allow himself to be killed, but a variant from The Council Of Kang's kill him anyway to ensure The Kang Dynasty happens.
I really enjoyed this movie!! Even though I found the whole MODOK storyline interesting, it seemed really weird and unnecessary to me. The visual effects of the movie blew me away but the visual effects for MODOK looked REALLY weird and off. That was the only thing that bothered me. I can’t praise him enough but HOLY GOD!! Jonathan Majors is a BEAST and so so BADASS as Kang!! I’ve literally NEVER seen anyone so PERFECT to do the role of Kang!! I was already really excited for Kang going into the movie and with the 2 post credit scenes, my excitement and hype is over the roof right now!!!! I’m so infinitely stoked and interested for ALL the Kangs to appear throughout the Multiverse Saga and for the Multiverse Saga as a whole!!! I also feel like the Kang from the movie is definitely not dead!
