Great start to your reviews on DB! You're very well spoken. I don't think calcs mattered here, Ray punches a lot harder, and they're both equally fast due to light speed. What mattered is their specific abilities.
I put this on in the background when I was Genshin gaming, but I was stopping what I was doing just to hear your takes on the ep. You do a really good job at explaining your thoughts in a concise manner. Personally, I enjoyed the episode but didn’t think it was anything too special, but I dunno the way you express your points makes me appreciate the episode more. :)
Really enjoyed this review! I look forward to hearing your thoughts on the rest of the season as it comes out. I'd say we have very similar thoughts when it comes to this episode specifically, especially with Hank's analysis. Everyone I was in call with went immediately silent after that tonal whiplash, it's really effective. And of course the death, but that goes without saying.
This episode was a fine one imo. Didn't really hit anything super major for me, but I had a great time watching it regardless. Honestly, my favorite part is that they handle Hank's infamous moments tastefully in his rundown, as I was really concerned they'd make a fucked up joke about it, but I'm glad they didn't.
Wrong prediction due to some lackluster research and digging on my part aside, I think the episode was good. Not the _best_ by any means, but still enjoyable. I’d probably rank it just above Aquaman VS Namor, myself. And yes, the track is really fun, and yes, that death is BRUTAL.
Not sure if i'm miss remembering but I think Liam said that CD vs DB is gonna be like Sauron vs Lich King but with more rolling but don't take my words for it also, Liam got 2 of his most wanted MUs to happen so that's nice.
