This is a fragment of my upcoming animated short to commemorate the 200 anniversary of Paleontology. The first dinosaurs such as Megalosaurus or Iguanodon were described in the 1800s, Also marine animals such as Plesiosaurs and Ichthyosaurs were discovered by Mary Anning in this time. Concepts like Evolution or Extinction were for the first time being considered and studied in this period, a time of rapid and dramatic changes that would transform how society perceived the world forever.
