We took a 2 night cruise aboard the Royal Caribbean ship, Anthem of The Seas. The cruise cost us £399 per person for a 2 night cruise in a balcony cabin. This was penned to be a Eurovision Spectacular! Was it worth it? Did it get political? Find out in the video!
It's been a while since we have sailed with Royal Caribbean.As well as enjoying the Eurovision themed festivities, we try out the food in the main dining rooms, Jamie's Italian and the Solarium Bistro. Is the food better than ever or below expectation? We bring you all of this and so much more!
The cruise was nearly at full capacity so the ship really was put to the test. How did it cope? Tune in and find out in this honest review of our experience.

Ahhh amazing! Thanks for watching and for the support! Much appreciated! You will have a great time on Anthem. Overall It’s a great ship with plenty to do on it. Best advise is, when you board, book everything you want asap. Especially iFly as it tends to book up FAST! 🥂🚢☀️

Great video! We sailed on the Anthem of the Seas back in December out of New Jersey and down to the Bahamas. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the food and entertainment. Katie was our Cruise Director and she was AMAZING! She was helped by Martin (Entertainment Manager). We were wondering if they are still on the Anthem of the Seas? The cruise was really enjoyable!!

Hello 👋 That sounds like a great cruise! We can’t recall sadly, as it was a themed cruise for Eurovision it was very busy so didn’t really chat with the team. Whoever directed it did a great job though, even down to the attention to detail for the dancers to be themed too.

I didn’t realise it was a Eurovision cruise. I’ll keep that information away from Neil 😂😂. Also $60 for two drinks 😱😱🤯. Good video as always.

Ah thank you 😃 Haha. That’s very wise, it was a very fun cruise but I think they inflated some prices along the way. 😳😵‍💫😦 It wasn’t $60 for two drinks btw, 2 rounds. 😊 ($15 per cocktail on average). 🥂🚢🥳

@@GetLostWithBenAndGareth phew…..$60 brought out the Yorkshire in me 😂 We need to try out RCL. It’s the only main stream cruise company we haven’t tried. 3 weeks and we’re on IONA. Watch out for the insta photo dump 😅. I really do like your videos. Keep them coming.

Yeah they’re definitely worth a go. Personally we think they’re a bit expensive for what they offer (which we will cover a bit more in another vlog shortly) but still worth a go if you haven’t sailed with them before. Thanks so much. Aww I would have loved to have met you both! I was on board Anthem on this cruise 😁 I (and my hubby) actually feature briefly in your vlog (during Spectra's Cabaret we were on those single swirly seats - hubby has the flowery shirt on, and I'm next to him)🤣 it's the first short cruise we've done (done other longer ones on P&O and Princess), and your vlog sums it all up nicely ❤ gotta say, it did feel like a massive booze cruise though for most of the passengers, could definitely feel the party vibes!

Especially travelling down to Southampton from Manchester, made the whole weekend feel very busy, we needed a holiday to get over the holiday 😅 so booked ourselves onto Arvia this December in the Caribbean (currently binging your Arvia videos for prep!) Totally get that!! December will be amazing! They’ll have the Christmas decorations out too! That will be absolutely amazing. We were just saying earlier it took us the entire of the next week with naps to recover. Haha.
