Idk what to say .. you feel the love in his voice .. love for travel , love for food, love for people… what you don’t see is the love for himself . It’s clear he was the most happy/unhappy person on this earth .
It's been a while that I didn't enjoy something like this much, while I was watching this episode. It is just beautiful. Everything that happened afterwards...God damn it! It gives me the feeling that I have to change my life.

It is said the Vietnamese drinker can feast on a single peanut. It's all about the booze and the person you drink with. I suspect the had a potluck with people bringing various chickens.
10:29 I lived in Vietnam for 6 months. I had a friend there that would take me to his friends' houses. We always did shots. It was weird though because on friend would do a shot with me, then another friend would, then another friend. Between these sometimes everybody would drink but it turned out I was drinking about 3 shots for everybody else's one. I wasn't sure why and my friend never told me until after I left that they wanted to see how much I could drink.
I know the feeling well, when me and my wife visit her family in Thailand, the entire village shows up at the house, like over a hundred people!…..used to freak me out but I’m used to it now…..ps I’ve always found Thai people to be much more friendly and welcoming than the Vietnamese
They were in a very rural area and besides very country has a way of doing things their way. They can't afford to waste a couple of ducks just to make a fool of a stranger.
