In this conversation, that's what matters. Who cares if your team won 56 games? They didn't win rings until they got more help. During these 7 years AD spent in NO, the West is deeper and more talented than it ever was in the 90s. ad and russ are great 2nd options..i do not think they can lead your team to a title as the best player...harden and bron can...so thats why they both are in great spots now but bron is 35..thats an issue and you have to get him to the 2nd round so he can dominate the playoffs rested which is tough

I don't think Anthony Davis failed in the playoffs, with the teams he was on he wasn't gonna win it all anyway. However he failed in only making it to the playoffs twice! If he is as good as people say he is he should have gotten there more often than 2 times in 7 years...

7 seasons....in New Orleans...by himself....as an perennial MVP candidate and consistently top 3 in PER over the last 5 years. No one wants to go to New Orleans no matter who's there, it's not fair to criticize him for wanting to leave and what he didn't achieve there as a very young player by himself. Now anything for now on, if he doesn't win now that's a different story. He wanted out and he got what he wanted and the Lakers payed a hefty price for him, you got a great team and a LeBron that's highly motivated. You better start winning now no excuses.

Born Knowledge I do an AD has had he’s fair share of injuries. Knowing he’s luck he’s gonna play 60 games for the laker this season and miss the playoffs. All this drama with the Lakers and Pelicans for this guy as if it was a 26 year old LeBron\Kobe/Mj asking for a trade. He’s also made the playoffs twice in he’s career which is not mostly he’s fault but still he ain’t TOP 5 like Stephen A says so and every media outlet is gonna suck him off cue he’s finally a laker.

@@Crimson-Ox He does have a point about Embiid man. And even Jokic. I think Embiid is the most dominant big man in this game this very moment. Over AD. Jokic, it's really hit or miss. What do you want? An unselfish, pass first center who can go out and get you 20-10-6 on any given night or do you want a slightly higher scorer with a little more defense but less passing ability. I'd personally pick AD over Jokic but it's closer than you realize. Jokic is pretty damn good

@@cj3954 Randle wasnt there 2 years ago, Boogie cousins is a cancer to any locker room he's in, and the pelicans dealt with a bunch of injuries this past season.. the personnel that the Pelicans surrounded Davis with just wasn't good enough and doesnt fit his style of play (I also think the coach is responsible for that).. not saying the AD is blameless but dont act like he hasn't been putting up historic numbers and even when he does the team barely wins.. what else is he supposed to do?

Paul George has had a better career than AD so far. AD is an empty stats guy who can’t elevate his team while playing with great players like Eric Gordon, Jrue Holiday, Boogie, Rondo etc. Kawhi will dismantle the Lakers and drop them off in 5, he’s simply unstoppable.

Kawhi is the only Superstar who can carry a chip with no all star (Lowry isn’t an all star in the west). Lebron and KD have only won on or competed with TWO OR THREE all stars their entire career ( Westbrook,Harden,Klove, Kyrie,Wade,Klay,Bosh,Ad etc). Kawhi is the most efficient performer in playoff history and unlike Lebron he was on the verge of ending the Warriors dynasty early if Zaza didn’t injure him.

Sooo they have been criticizing AD for his lack of playoff success and saying he needs to leave and worry about his legacy. He leaves and now they say those playoff losses don't matter 🤔 But Harden, Russ, Paul George get criticized with better resumes in the playoffs. KD needs to "prove it" on his own after taking OKC to the Finals and shooting over 50% ....winning an MVP and multiple scoring titles. But it's ok for AD with one playoff series victory to team up with Bron...for AD's legacy. Even tho AD will be a co-star on Bron's team. Interesting 😂😂

Yeah, let's compare AD, a player drafted to the Pelicans, plagued with injuries as a team, never had another all star till 1 yr of cousins in a super team era, and that played against the warriors dynasty everytime he reached the playoffs to David Robinson who was drafted to the Spurs... Possibly the best organization in the last 2 decades. I agree that stats aren't everything, but either are wins...
