Ant is better than SGA because Ant isn’t a FT merchant. Shai shot 11 FT per game last year and then 9 this season to average 30? Ant is taking that challenge of guarding the opposing team best player game in game out from tip off. Ant had Beal on lock and it was straight abuse this entire series. Ant in the iso vs whoever including KD was cooking niggaz. Shai is good, and his game is smooth as hell but Ant is a DAWG. He can be physical on both ends and his motor is insane. He’s 22 not 25 like Shai. This next season it’s up. Like how Wemby will be taking the DPOY crown from Rudy.

Ant also beat a SUNS super team of 3 elite scorers, and showed that Booker is not the best SG in the league. Shai’s cooking them Pelicans who doesn’t have Zion….

Is no one gonna bring up how Ant is also on a number 1 defense anchored by Gobert while the Suns best defender was Okogie? I agree he’s going to be the undisputed best sg by the end of next year but leaping DBook off of a one sided series just kind of crazy to me and shows a lot of recency bias

The problem here is does outplaying someone constitute leaping them in rankings. I remember everybody and they mom was saying Kyrie was better than Steph after the 2016 but lookin back on it now we know Kai was never better than Steph unless Steph took that best PG title back in the next finals. Not saying Ant isn’t better than Book but I hope this isn’t just recency bias talking

SGA is cool an all (i do think he deserves his mvp consideration) but I don't see him taking over games. he's mad consistent in the regular season and is pretty clutch but i just haven't seen him take over a game the way ANT, Ja, Brunson do. id pick those 3 players over SGA.

BS. Year 4 head to head is overwhelmingly Ant. He is higher in pts by a point and a half per game… higher fg%, 3 pt%, and ft%… and higher rebounds per game . Shai is good and is a finished player…. Ant is still ascending. Ant has more dog in him than Shai who is Canadian lol
