Anthony Fantano, I never thought a man whom I've never had any real communication with could actually change my life, but somehow you did just that. I discovered you from your review of To Pimp a Butterfly, and immediately subscribed because that has turned out to be my favorite hip hop project of all time. Since then, I have watched every single video you've released, and it has been quite the ride. I used to be pretty straight forward with my music choices, but you brought my mind to new horizons and opened me up to things I never would have even given a chance before. Death grips, swans, xiu xiu, and many others, would never blessed my ears if it weren't for your channel. And while I could just go on and on, I'm going to leave you with this. Thank you Anthony, you are sincerely the greatest channel RU-vid has to offer, and I congratulate you for achieving the honor or 1 million subscribers. Back when you had that little outro jingle and the disclaimer before your videos. Back before the gains, when you were so young, so smooth, so innocent, so pure...back before the memes, before Cal, before Flannels. Now it's seven years later; you're still reviewing, I'm still a waste, and if I could go back and regain all of the countless hours wasted on your channel, by God, I'd do it in a heartbeat. You deserve more than just 1M subscribers. I don't get it, music is something that is universally loved all around cultures and you are one of the definitive music reviewers of our era. So I think that you should have more than just 1M subs. You got me into Death Grips, Swans and other bands, we need people like you to promote these amazing artists that are being overlooked.

One of my favorite channels on all of RU-vid. Even if I come to disagree with opinions regarding some of the reviews (DAMN.), I enjoy the discourse. The reviews of TPAB, Atrocity Exhibition, and Piñata were fantastic. I was enthralled. Love it.

You know what, I feel this human being deserves a light-to-decent 7. And here are My reasons why. Despite giving Kendrick Lamar's "DAMN !" a 7 and Travis $cotts "Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight" a 3, as well as an underwhelming review to any Tyler, the Creator project out there, he has earned, through long and arduous years of work, with consistent uploads and schedules, as well as a (personally) hilarious second channel, which will remain nameless for Anthony's sake, and has been working hard for his fans, despite the abuse, as well as spreading his opinion and having become, despite his denial and saying it's just "His Opinion", an influential source for audiophiles everywhere. Reasons that this Human deserves such a lofty score include, but are not limited to: 1. His undying honesty towards his fanbase and viewers, no matter how much of a dick he comes off as, makes him a man if truth, and instead of being another watchmojo, he has carved his own persona through his reviews, and has done it all by being himself. 2. His recording and audio quality are some of the best I've seen, as well as he thinks everything through very meticulously to the last detail, and his scripts for his videos hardly contain any flaws, and when they do, he humorously edits it in post that he messed up, and just modifies his voice and puts bright text on the screen. 3. He has countless interviews large youtubers, MASSIVE artists in the music industry such as Danny Brown and Denzel Curry, and has some incredibly insightful thinkpieces on the direction in which some genres of music are moving towards, as well as pondering and explaining topics such as "Can bad people make good music?" 4. He has a comedic aspect to some segments of his channel, such as the "YUNO REVIEW" series, which occurs monthly, as well as the "NOT GOOD" playlist, dedicated to only his most negative reviews, and the "It Came From BandCamp" segment, where he reviews some of the weirdest oddities he can come across on said website. Now, the only downside I can see to this human being, other than being a little picky (albeit is his job as a music critic), he can seem a little lifeless or monotone on his videos, but can spark back to life in a select few. If you're looking for more energy, other reviewers such as BIGQUINT, Shawn Cee and Tabby are recommended, which Anthony has done collaboration with each of the aforementioned individuals. The repetitive nature of his videos only further proves how planned out and how consistent he is with his reviews and how professionally he takes his work. Overall, this human is interesting, although sometimes a little flat and static, but definitely still worth a listen. Thank you for reading, 4pac, Anthony Fantano, Forever.
