Watch the highlights of Anthony Grimani teaching a class for integrators at CIExpo 2023 in Oakland, CA. We crushed the event with far more attendance that we were expecting in most of the classes, and everyone stayed long to listen to everyone else’s questions as well.
In the video, he covers:
1. The importance of acoustics.
2. How did Anthony Grimani get started?
3. What makes Grimani Systems speakers different?
Give it a watch, and be sure to subscribe so we can make Anthony to create content of some of his more memorable presentations and demos for you to watch, and maybe even get a chance to see him present in front of a client’s system.

I am absolutely new to this and am loving the lecture. My question could be absolutely silly, but I am still going ahead with it. Q1. How do I measure the reflection of sound, is there any instrument with which it can be done ? Q2. How do I calibrate the system or what is process to acoustically treat the room to get it to the acceptable level of 0.4, meaning how do we figure the position to place the reflectors or absorbers, what is the best practise.

Thank you so much for those videos. They are cool as always. Can you tell us, in a scenario when the RT60 for a small room untreated is already 0.4s. Should we treat the room anyway or not? I mean Dr. Floyd Toole argues that with good off axis speakers and a residential living room with furniture and a rug you usually don't need additional treatment. Or am I wrong here? Thanks for the answer.

I didn't catch your formula for ideal reverb time based on volume of room - can you write it down?

The more acoustic panels you need to use in a room , the bigger the errors in speaker positioning you already have ,to begin with, in the first place . The more you toe in your speakers, the less of those stupid plasters you need on the walls. If your speaker positioning was correctly designed in the first place ,then you would not need all that material on the walls. When you design an audio system and you don't consider the woman of the house , then you are not a designer worth your salt. All this technical information is too much for 99,9 % of the people. It is all old-school information that has been overhauled already . I know a lot of women that would chase you out of their houses, if they knew that you want to plaster their walls with this tacky stuff and husband's would get nothing in return. Be wise consider the wife.
