That's the word I was looking for misdirection it's timing and misdirection. He is a master of both... And Jimmy Carr yes he is the English Scottish whatever version but... I just saw his recent special and I'm about to see Anthony jesselnick tonight... There will be a comparison, but it wasn't Jimmy Carr's Best special. But neither was the last special for jesselnick. We'll see

Saw him in Spokane. He opened with a joke that insulted the town and its citizens. After a pregnant pause the crowd erupted in laughter. Great comedian.

I've watched all the modern greats, Burr, Stanhope, C.K. O'Neil, etc etc - over and over and over. But, to my mind Anthony is the most technically brilliant of them all. 'Genius' is a very fitting word for what he's capable of.

Comedy central basically kicked him out because he wouldn't follow the networks rules. He's one of the best when it comes to delivering jokes and has no filter. It's sad they have tried to cancel him. Same goes for Daniel Tosh.

I appreciate Anthony's style and wit. He's amazing and is my current favorite. I like that people still say 'Hide and GO Seek'...not 'Hide and Seek'. He's a cool character. I hope to meet him some day.

I keep seeing people talk about his "BRILLIANCE!" Every joke is simply the exact opposite answer of what would be normally acceptable. It's not brilliant it's basically just the first rule of comedy exaggerated to a predictable point so often that it's no longer funny.

spoiler for one of his jokes ahead... when he says he harassed his gf to get him an Xbox for Christmas, and she got him... a homemade frame with a photo of them in it. I thought the joke was that it was a frame (a "box" frame) with an "ex" in it (e.g., that she was breaking up with him).
