Roughly 12% of film actors in the US are black, and 73% are white. but even if your crazy belief that black people are taking over Hollywood, why would that matter?? It's not your race vs their race, get over yourself. Celebrate how good an actor instead of crying about some bullshit statistic that was either taught to you or that you've made up to justify not wanting to look at the black person on the tv screen.

Honestly, I was surprised Mackie had this side to him. He always seemed to be like a Hollywood party all the time living the high life kind of guy. But his work building homes is really awesome and I now have a huge respect for him.

Altered Carbon is a great show that doesn't get nearly enough attention imo. I enjoyed season 1 slightly more than season 2, but that had more to do with the writing & I think Mackie did a great job and captured the character with such great skill that you barely notice it's a different person.

@Garry G 12 years later than Smith isnt exactly as long as... but I get what you mean. Though since Smiths big break came right away in the early 90s as the fresh prince and Mackie just became a household name by playing falcon, I wouldnt write him off just yet. Maybe he is a late bloomer 😏 Listening to him talk, I admit, Smith came to my mind as well.
