If they just put a camera on Daniel Spitz for the whole concert I would be Very happy. I miss him in the band. I am super happy to have Belladonna back though!
Agreed. I never had the privilege to see them with the "classic" lineup with Spitz. I saw them not too long ago with Lamb of God. The rest of the band put on this crazy energy, but Jon Donais (the dude in Dan's place) seemed really disinterested. Don't get me wrong, he's a good guitar player, but he doesn't have the energy that Spitz has.

Anthrax is the shit. Joey definitely the best vox out of all the big4. And holy shit Charlie Benante is definitely top 2 at the very least. BLows Lars away.
I really-REALLY love all the John Bush stuff, from White Noise to Mass Destruction. I'm a huge Rob Caggiano fan and I appreciate and respect Jon Donais' work a lot. But, ladies and gentlemen, THIS is the Anthrax, for real! Oh my God, they are f*cking awesome!!!
Watched A.I.R. Danny shows up just three times. They dont even show his solo. This would have been a much better DVD if they had given him his deserved camera time.
I don't even see him on stage at this point, I think he may have been playing behind the stage setup for some reason. Tech difficulties? Had to take a shit? Lol
This live appearance in their mature years is just as good as their appearances back in the 80s! Not many bands can show for this! True professional musicians ! RESPECT!!!!
Life and death as words they don't mean shit It's what you do with it And how you live with it Raging like a bull inside a cage Just give me a stage Where this bull can rage PARANOIA!!! GOD DAMN man. fucking time.
The text at the beginning says that these are the original members of Anthrax, I guess we're going to ignore the fact that Fistful Of Metal exists? To say original members would imply that Neil Turbin would be singing and Dan Lilker would be playing bass. If you really want to get technical, Greg Walls would be on lead guitar and Greg D'Angelo would be on drums.
Even tho the whole band looks back on this period really negatively and regrets the whole reunion, this is seriously one of the fucking best recorded metal concerts. Just wished they would've played Metal Thrashing Mad too.
I heard a interview where Scott says Joeys performance felt really forced and they just weren't into it.. I wholeheartedly believe that's because Scott and Joey still didn't talk about what happened back in the 90s when Joey left .. I blame Scott for those times, he took the stress of his divorce out on Joey and it wasn't fair.. But now they moved past all that and FAK is a great record. Probably the best of all the new Big4 records that just came out.
I remember when I heard that joey was fired from the band, I was devastated, but I still brought the sound of white noise, but I couldn't get into it, the fact that there was a new guy singing was a hard thing to deal with, but the massive change in the style of the music was to much of a departure from the anthrax I loved, the only album I like with John Bush is 'music of mass destruction' When I found out that joey was back and they were working on a new album, well I didn't think I could of reverted to a 15 year old so quickly lol, I absolutely love worship music, but when I got for all Kings, well it was as if I was a kid again and I was hearing thrash for the first time again, for all Kings is one of the best thrash metal albums of all time, it stands head to head with anything from the 1980s. Anthrax are the best.
TIME is one of my all time favorite 1st Belladonna era Anthrax tracks. I really love John Bush, but credit to Belladonna here, he really does sound great.

Incredible show, so cool to see Spitz in action. None of his replacements have had his stage presence. Too bad the reunion didn't take with the classic lineup.
The set list on this concert is great . I saw them in the same year , UNFORTUNATELY , before the reunion . the line up was seriously missing , only Charlie and Scott were old members by the beginning of 2005 .
Excellent DVD. Compared to "Oidivnikufesin" one can clearly see how they all grew as musicians. On the other hand, the band chemistry can't be compared to their '88 release. Win some, lose some. :)
To what I understand, people would want to record it with their phone so in the future they can say "I was a *insert band here* show once, I have it recorded.". But this is coming from someone who has never been to a concert before, so IDK.
Never seen this DVD before. I've seen ANTHRAX live 4 x's since 12/6/97 & CAN honestly say that they ( ANTHRAX ) bring it every fucking time they hit a stage. It's totally awesome footage regardless of live video or DVD whenever it comes to ANTHRAX. Was really glad SLAYER included them on their recent US/World Tour ..... went to the June 9th. Burgettstown Pa ( Pittsburgh ) show. HOLY SHITSKI SON was! it absofuckinglutely mandafuckingtory crushingly DAM good 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘!!!!!!!!
If this COVID ever ends I would like to see anthrax live again with a new that song time is great would love to here them play keep it in the family live
Why Spitz left Anthrax after this tour ? Just to make watches ? (he is one of best watches maker in world, so dude must be rich...) Now he is doing Red Lamb project (recorded and written with Dave Mustaine) so he is fully active again.. This is last official Dvd and lve album with original lineup and must say Belladona really belong in this band and its great Dvd, awesome to see and hear them all and must say Spitz is great guitarist, musician, watch maker and human being ! :) PS. 1:03:18 is this fuckin whiskey ? It would burn my insides doing that ...
This wasn't the original lineup. This is the "classic" lineup ;) Not sure exactly why Dan didn't stay, but I think it had to do with Benante. I may be wrong, though.
This is so sick. The original line up was the best. Sometimes there’s just a little synergy with some bands/line ups and we all wonder what happened to the band once that is lost....
This isn't the original lineup.. the original had Dan Lilker on Bass and Neil Turbin on vocals. This is the reunion lineup because it's the most well known
@@samswales9280 I hear you. In the vid they say the original members of Anthrax. And I’ve been listening to them since the 80s, these dudes ARE my original members. They are the ones that made the name and generated the fame. It’s like saying Mustaine is part of the original Metallica line up...he is but he isn’t....cheers
sure scott is more on camera than danny but stop saying that he's not filmed the whole gig. like wtf? yes in the first 2 or 3 songs u barely see him but that's kinda his own fault cause he was hiding in the conrner, but later when he steps out of the corner and gains courage to be seen and perform u really see him on camera quite often and he's having a better time by the second. started walking to other members and goofing off having fun, so u really can see him.
no se como es capaz de tocar Frank Bello con el bajo casi a la altura de los tobillos,le va a crujir la espalda, eso si que tiene peligro y no el headbanging XD
