really dissapointed with ofra set highlight badly made and can only use a third - none of this swirl brush over all of them! and the glosses - Nikki said we have to give them some lurve to work ! 55 dollars i expect it to give me love - had enough of it all toppers blushers bronzers I'm just sticking to what i know works - can't afford to do otherwise :(

I have the palette and honestly the formula is so good that I put it on in the morning and it lasts for about 7 hours even with eating and drinking (its not as drying as a liquid lipstick but lasts about as long). It's not ideal for people who only wear neutral lipsticks but its AMAZING for people who like to try out new colors

I agree, makeup releases were so much better a few years ago when it was properly spaced out. It gives time for them to develop and come out with innovative products. Remember when the Naked palettes came out? It was at least a year in between each palette and everyone went CRAZY for them. I feel like now brands are pressured to keep up with the trends so they're banging out products left and right without really investing time in them.

Safiya Nygaard did a video on this lip pallete. She is very into lip makeup, but she tested out trying to mix it at a restaurant. I think you would enjoy seeing how she tested it out, especially the mixing.

I'm a professional MUA and that Anastasia lip palette is so useful on set, because I don't have to bring a million lipsticks! But I can't imagine how it would ever be practical for just one person to use.

I agree with basically all your picks. I also don't understand why Anastasia would release two palettes in conjunction with each other. If I were nicole, I would be mad about it because people might buy the Aurora kit instead of mine if they couldn't afford both so soon

that's a good point, I know that Nicole kit has been sold out for a while. But I heard that Anastasia was going to re release in May?. I was lucky and managed to pick mine up the day it launched

Wooohooo! I'm so excited to see your opinions. I get caught up in the hype so easily I have to remind myself I don't need everything, I won't use everything, nor do I have the money for everything! I won't be buying the new abh glow kit either. I have the moonchild and swatches look way too similar.

Rumor has it they're also doing a modern renaissance 2 type of palette. Now I love my modern renaissance so that I'll have to wait and see if I'm willing to buy another palette being similar. We'll see once they sneak peek it. Lol

Also the Nikkie collab is relaunching and they're selling items separately. Not sure if I'm gonna pick anything up still though. I like the nude and the brown metallic, I just don't think I'll actually wear the brown metallic. I already have nudes, soooooo.

Amber George I seen a leak, you can find it on Instagram. it's like brown and pastel colors, light blue, yellow, reds. A bit unusual in my opinion. it's going to be called subculture. go under the tag abhsubculture on Instagram, I just checked it's still there.

I cannot agree more with companies spitting out so many products that we literally can't keep up with it. It's impossible! And I don't ever remember things being like this, I don't know about anyone else. I just remember having a big release twice a year, or every season, not every two weeks. I love Kimberly Clark's anti-hauls, and I'm so glad to see more influencers do them!

I bought the auroa glowkit and it's not nearly as pigmented as the Nicole one so thankfully it's wearable 🙌🏼 I also got the pirates of the Caribbean palette and cheek palette but I'm legit a collector of themed palettes. It makes me so happy

I think the Aurora glow kit was aimed towards darker skin tones. Hence why the swatches were all on darker skin. But yea I'm giving up with Kylie cosmetics 🙄 too much too fast

I agree except for on the Anastasia highlighters I like the purple. And I like the colors of the pirates of the Caribbean inspired eyeshadows but only if they're matte. I think that lip pallete is a "cool idea" but i already have a lot of good lip shades I don't need to mix any new shades

amen on saving up for something and dropping another before you've even saved up for the first. I have to budget out my purchases. thanks for these videos it's really helps me decide where I'm going to spend that limited budget. I also hate lip palettes. I want something o can toss in my purse for my long work days and do touchups easily and quickly. I did however, preorder the laroc pirates palette...I don't know why, but it spoke to me.

I so agree with the lorac pirates pallette. they could of so played with more earthy tones and then used water type tones and then threw some mermaid pops in there I feel like they could of done such a better job with the colors.

I tested that ABH lipstick pallet at ULTA and it is extremely messy and hard to use. Plus I basically hit pan just from dipping the brush in twice

totally agree with everything except the lip palette! I love the lip palette even for the everyday girl because the shades are all just as long wearing as a liquid lip but they're less drying! So you don't need to touch up at the club!! Plus I haven't boughten a new lip shade since because any shade I want to wear I can mix :) however before I got it I didn't like lip palettes either but I think it's because most don't come with a black, a white, and the primary's!!

I read that when Nikki's highlighter and lipsticks come back out you will be able to buy them individually. Which I think was another one of the problems with it. Those lip products need to be sold separately because they are so different and no one likes all of them.

I TOTALLY agree with you on ALL of this! I am so uninspired by so many collections coming out.😞I am however excited for the TooFaced Clover palette that is coming out later this year. It looks so cute! The colors are so pretty too. I can't wait! I also want to see the Natasha Denona Sunset palette shades. Hopefully it will not cost me $259 like my Green Brown palette!😣

new subscriber here! t his was a great video and you made so many good points! no one's really ever talked about how ABH and kylie and i think colorpop too, just keep putting out product after product and how it's just too hard to keep up and catch our breath and enjoy the makeup. as soon as you get it in the mail, there's something that you /need/ to buy and it's just too overwhelming. great work!

I absolutely agree as a woman of color on that nikkietut bundle. would never work for my skin tone as a whole, and I would only want one of the lip colors. It just wasn't that practical to me to only have the bundle option.
