As the husband of a public school teacher, I can't stress enough how important this is. The stories that she has been telling me about her students over the years make me very concerned for future generations. Remember, these indoctrinated kids could grow up to be indoctrinated adults and assume positions of power, high and low. This Texas community showed up and got it done. It may seem like a small, isolated incident but it's a vital one. Believe me, this needs to be done in communities all over the country. I applaud this Texas community for saying "enough is enough".

Hey I'm also a husband of a public school teacher, and I have my wife telling me almost the exact same thing. I can totally relate to that. On a related topic, my wife used to teach in a Florida blackwater town that's overrun by Latino immigrants. Lots of parents and the kids in her school did not know how to speak English at all, and my wife somehow had to shoulder the responsibility of teaching them a new language. On top of that, the parents did not seem to care how their kids were doing in school at all. My wife would come home crying sometimes because it was just such a horrible nightmare that the kids didn't listen to her or couldn't understand her at all. All in all, my point is that we really need to focus on strengthening a common American heritage, instead of focusing on whose skin color represents more oppression. The leftists only care about letting people flood into our country, but it's people like my wife who has the heavy burden of helping them assimilate.

This way children can grow to become good parents and hopefully teach their children to become awesome human beings. It supposed to start at home, not in school. You are 60, you should know this. Look at what's been going around from the left... saying math is racist, saying critical thinking is bad, teaching children how to riot, telling students with lighter skin that they are racist no matter what, teaching children that responsibility is a "white" trait and therefore inherently racist. The facts are that public education does not serve all races the same. “Woke education” is actually what us professional teachers like to call teaching the Black and Brown students too, rather than suspending them. Or how about not letting LGBTQ kids get jumped between classes, or maybe just keeping ignorant parents like you from laughing at the kids with headscarves. Just recently a group of parents and teachers pushed back against the school board in Vail, Arizona. The Board, after calling and then cancelling an Open Board Meeting, resigned under pressure from parents who just wanted to know when the mask mandate was going to be rescinded. The parents, same night, after hearing of the mass resignation, gathered a quorum, nominated and elected five new board members and rescinded the mask mandate for all who did not want to wear a mask at school. I'm sure there will be lawsuits, but this was a huge shot across the bow for EVERY SCHOOL BOARD. Parents are taking back their schools!!!

Im old but I can remember talking to one of my professors I asked him a question his reply was my job is not to tell you what to think but teach how to think. Told me to go research the question then come back and we would debate it

I looked-up the term *Critical Race Theory* on *Wikipedia.* The "wiki" entry is quite informative. Turns out that the concept has formally existed going all the way back to the year 1970, and has been *highly rejected* (...going all the way back to 1970!)

@@hotkickrepomanjr.8838 I coined the term. I never understood how that stupid show ever got critical acclaim or even made it past the pilot. But once again Americans proved to me that they are capable of just about anything, including voting a dead guy into office. Joe actually walks just like the zombies 🧟‍♂️ in that show. I keep expecting to see someone take a rifle shot right through his forehead while he's on stage. But that's just me.
