The funniest part of the show is the fact that the laugh track plays every five seconds regardless of what just happened and if it was even supposed to be a joke. Norm could be like 'we're out of milk' and the crowd goes wild

The thing about All in the Family was that Archie Bunker was portrayed as an ignorant and obnoxious loudmouth, and is perceived that way by most of the other characters. Guessing ex-Hercules (Sorbo) didn’t catch onto that, though 😂

Shouldn't the daughter and pink hair be annoying and unreasonable to make Norm look better? Why are they understanding and calm while Norm the supposed voice of reason is whining about his colorful beer can and crying about pronouns like the snowflakes he's supposed to be mocking?

Sorbo meant "All in the Family" as in the 70's sitcom. Norm clearly is their version of Archie Bunker.

Always find it funny how shows like this and Birchum call themselves "too edgy for television", and then its some of the most milk toast "edgy" jokes and commentary you've ever seen.

I like how we all thought that Mr. Birchum set a new standard for how bad and out of touch conservative cartoon comedy can be for years to come and then this piece of crap just spawned out of nowhere and everyone ended up kinda forgetting about Mr. Birchum. But honestly this is so pathetic, especially that little elon cameo at the end. They actually thought people would like this. But in all fairness: "you know there will be lot's of jokes" is already the most iconic line of the year.

The saddest thing is "they could just google it" is the easiest, most straight foreword way of showing people the world outside their echo chambers, but they just refuse to do that and instead spew hate and act like the world is out to get them.

It's so funny how stuff like this and Mr. Birchum just feels like conservatives vaguely remember King of the Hill, but dont know why it was a show that a lot of people actually enjoyed. And that people still enjoy.

It’s it just me or did they accidentally make the “woke” characters be the ones that’s shown in a positive light? They seem calm and collected, trying to respectfully inform the elderly about their lives. They make the “protagonists” be seen as irrational people that refuse to listen and just choose to stay ignorant and make ignorant jokes. If they want funny jokes the writers should actually try to inform themselves about real queer people but they are as ignorant as their self inserterts- I mean the characters they’ve created

It's funny how the creators of this show took inspiration from All in the Family yet managed to miss the entire point of the show. Archie was shown as loudmouth & ignorant about the world around him but learned to grow past at least some of his views. He's still conservative by the ended but not as bigoted about certain subjects

I'm also upset because outside of the premise being good and interesting. Having it be a sort of meta animated sitcom with creative transition is a great format in general and even more for the premise. Also Chaz and The Daughter seem like they'd make a good couple and a good show could utilize that to write a conflict with the father who starts off not accepting the relationship but eventually realizes his daughter is happy and that's what matters.

as someone who is gender-fluid here whitch simply means I can feel connected to a whole variety of genders rather then simply one that can be multiple single or none at all, but I myself don't actually tell people this and I am comfortable with that as long as they ask because I don't feel I have to tell someone I feel a gender when I simply feel it myself, I actually use my default pronouns in when it comes to being a public as at the end of the day I'm not going to see them again, as well as people that I live with as to me it would simply be a hassle to them and I personally don't mind it, which sadly a lot of people don't seem to understand that, I'm not going to force the people that I live with to call me different pronouns all the time because I personally don't feel like it's right to do that and it's fine just calling my default pronouns, so I guess what I'm trying to say needless as most people as seen depicted here as I don't start off with my name and tell my pronouns afterwards, I just tell my name, this is just my point of view as I simply wanted to share it, as I have seen a lot of shows where a character's say there name and then they really emphasize the pronouns.

Even as somebody who could be considered moderately conservative im just unfazed by this "comedy". Clearly the target demographic isnt even just conservatives, its old conservatives and maybe elon musk fans, but the thing is that probably the majority of the target demographic arent even gonna watch a cartoon like that either (or watch any at all)

The character design is actually interesting, the animation is terrible, the writing is good if you think of it as talking the piss out of Norm, which the show unintentionally makes it feel like that was the l direction it was going in in the first place. It has been forever since i have seen the show), and a son in law who supports her ( which the father hates him). Realistically the father is a unlikeable jerk, but the way the character is written and since he is the protagonist he comes off more as a goofy way to inform the audience which leads to the shows hijinks. This show failed at it's first joke lol.

I feel like if this show did something closer to the old show dinosaurs it could work. The idea of showing that both extremes can lead to whatever outcomes, and everyone learning from the errors of those extremes would nake for a good show.
