I was just thinking about your (possibly) jet pieces and remembered that I watch a mudlarking channel called "Northern Mudlarks" and they've gone to Whitby to beachcomb for jet a year or so ago. I remember they talked about how to tell if you have jet, but it has been so long I don't remember.

Hi Charlene! I would imagine that East Coast would have higher prices than my area. I live in small town Michigan- and in general prices on just about everything are a little lower around here than in larger cities. I definitely see that reflected in the antique and thrift stores as well- but I do think you can find treasures just about anywhere! ♥️♥️♥️
The trombone on the end of your bracelet is original.You’ll find your pieces are made of Tombak Brass copper zinc lead and sometimes arsenic 😬 please take care, most modern Jewellers won’t repair pieces.
The tiny pearls appear to just be coated- some of them have the pearlescent coating chipping away. I’ve only ever seen that on faux pearls- but I could be wrong! 🤔❤️
How much would that necklace cost at retail at 4:00 minutes in. I’m completely new when it comes to jewellery roughly one year or so I do have over thousands of pieces of jewellery and I’m not sure exactly what everything is. It will take me years to learn I believe. Glad to find you!
Love Dana and her channel! I am always learning and definitely love watching other channels for the same reason. I see comps for Art Deco Chrysoprase necklaces all over the place in terms of price. Usually between 175-350 range. It depends on how much silver is in the piece and the size of the stones. The one I have has smaller stones- but some have massive beautiful pieces of Chrysoprase! If you google "Art deco sterling chrysoprase necklace" you can see the range of what is out there. I hope that helps!!
