Let's take a look through some antique jewelry I found at a new-to-me Antique mall. Thank you for watching! If you are a fellow jewelry lover please consider subscribing to my channel. ❤️❤️❤️
I absolutely love everything that you showed us !!! I too love old jewelry & sweet cute little things !!! You did an awesome job finding all those beautiful jewelry pieces !!! ❤️🙂
Thank you!! Yes you are right- Arc de triomphe - I have never been to Paris but would love to visit someday. Interesting to know about the antique souvenirs being popular at the moment- I can understand why. Thank you for watching! ♥️♥️♥️
Lovely pieces! The anchor hallmark on the green enamel leaf brooch is from Birmingham UK, the maker is probably Arthur Johnson Smith, made around the turn of the century. The letter stamp will give you the exact date. The glass brooch is L'Arc de Triomphe, Paris.
Thank you so much for the helpful info!! I am not familiar with Arthur Johnson Smith - but am excited to research him more. Thanks for watching! ♥️♥️♥️
Don’t know if you have watched videos on RU-vid under Jason Adam’s. He is a Master on Vintage Jewelry and other Vintage items. I have learned so much about Vintage jewelry etc. Enjoyed watching your fabulous scores you purchased.
Your absolutely lovely as usual Lauren. And thank you again for introducing yourself and thank you for sharing all your beautiful ’finds!’🤗( favorite would be the blue necklace.)
Think the brush may be a crumb brush. They used to be used with a little tray to brush up crumbs off of the table cloth. My late gran still used to use one.
Beautiful Cameo and super cute cat bell. Everything is wonderful. I never find any real scores anymore, everyone is reselling, or online. I did teach a few Thrift shops how to look for jewelry marks, I used to find so much silver, it started to feel bad. Our Thrifts do food parcels and social services so there's that. I did pick up a Pandora charm bracelet type, that looked like it might be silver plated and cheap silver. I was pleasantly surprised to find it was silver and came up looking like real silver after a polish with tomato sauce. It's just that fun little thrill of finding things that need some tender loving care.
Thank you Mary!! It is definitely harder to find jewelry these days. Even compared to just a few years ago. I have found that the antique stores near me have better prices than the thrift stores. Sounds like that Pandora bracelet was a great find!! Thanks for watching! ♥️♥️♥️
Hello, Lauren, I look forward to seeing your videos. Everything you find is very interesting. Oh my Goodness, that ring is wonderful even with the missing stone. You have a very good eye for special jewelry pieces. I really liked the rolled gold locket and the sterling book chain. Thank you. 👍
I am happy to hear that! Thank you. I know almost nothing about coins but I would love to learn more about them someday. I have a very small collection of coins that I have happened upon.. and always mean to do more research on them. Thank you for watching! ❤️❤️
Napier pieces were Sterling during WWII , as you said 😊 base metal rationing. Your brooch might have been marked on the pin, which often wears down or off, or has been replaced.
Thank you!! I thought so. I will take a closer look at the clasp.. this one might just be plated but I will have to look into it a bit more. Appreciate the helpful info as always! ❤️❤️❤️
I love the blue glass beads, that color of blue is so, I don't even know how to describe it. I love the combination of necklaces you're wearing . The book chain is especially nice.
Thank you!! That’s is a good question! I honestly don’t know for sure- but that is definitely possible. It does have a little bale like it might have hung for something? Thanks so much for watching! ❤️❤️❤️
Hello! Thank you so much. I am mainly a collector. I list pieces from time to time in my Poshmark closet- but mostly am just collecting at this point. Thank you for watching! ♥️♥️♥️
Thank you for the tip! I do usually use the 18K- but that is a great point! I need to get a white stone so that I can actually see the results from the silver acid. I did not know that about nickel silver! Thank you for watching! ♥️
