Let's take a look through some antique jewelry finds from the past few weeks! Thank you for watching! If you are a fellow jewelry lover please consider subscribing to my channel. ❤️❤️❤️
Gorgeous pieces! Your unmounted cameo is the goddess Hebe offering ambrosia to her father, Zeus, who is in the form of an eagle. It was her job to be the cup-bearer to the gods. Beautiful cameo.
Thank you Lisa!!! I knew it was something from mythology. 😂 Appreciate the information! I thought it was a beautiful scene- happy to be able to save it! Thanks for watching! ❤️❤️❤️
@@LittleBlueJewelryBox you’re very welcome, and thank you for sharing your treasures and your knowledge with us! I love how we all learn from each other in this online jewellery community 🥰
@@lisacrandall409Absolutely agree- I would know nothing about antique/vintage jewelry if it wasn’t for kind people being generous with their knowledge on this platform! ❤❤❤
I adore all painted jewellery, By history I think that mourning jewellery is outstanding I have few ,,and learning never ends,, Your finds are unique and so is the way you present them . Thank you❤
I love the kind of rectangular agate brooch. It's so striking, it almost looks man made. I also really like the dragon's breath ring, and the milk glass necklace. Someday you'll have to show us your displays. Those old pictures are really nice. I love old photography.
Thank you!! That agate does almost look man-made! Nature is impressive. I will definitely share more of my displays sometime. Thank you for watching. ❤️❤️❤️
Absolutely agree! It is sad to see. I also think it is beautiful in a way to be able to be the custodian of these items for now - so they do not get lost to time! ❤️ Thanks for watching!
New subscriber!! Great finds & enjoyable video!! The clasps and pin backs definitely give away the ages of the pieces. I recently found a ring with a couple painted on it. Gorgeous and now in my collection.
Thank you for watching and for subscribing! The hand painted pieces I find to be really beautiful- and it sounds like the ring you found is a real treasure. ❤️❤️❤️
I love all of your pieces. You have wonderful taste. I am glad you saved the portrait and I hope you restore it. I found a Victorian hand painted porcelain lady and cat brooch. The brooch was broken but put back together very well and I love it. I also liked the mourning ring. May you have a blessed Easter. Thank you so much for sharing your finds.
Thank you Regina! Love that you found a broken piece- and loved it still. I think many of the damaged pieces deserve saving. Thank you for the kind words! Hope you have a wonderful Easter too. ❤️❤️❤️
Wonderful items! Love your Angel pin, I have one similar. I have several videos on cameos and one on Greek and Roman mythology. We have very similar tastes, I even have the same box you have on your shelf! I subscribed to you. I’m Lady Sylvia here on YT. Happy Easter!🐇 ❤❤
Thank you Sylvia! I've just subscribed to your channel as well. Happy to meet another jewelry lover- and I am excited to see your beautiful collection! Happy Easter! ❤❤❤
Love all of your pieces. All are so very beautiful !!! Especially the three painted brooches, the stone brooches, painted pill box & the morning ring !!! You find such interesting unique beautiful jewelry !!! I have a pendant of a bird that looks like a Chickadee sitting on a tree branch with pink flowers & it's all painted on what looks like mother of pearl with a signature, year(90 maybe) & under the year is the religious fish sign !!! I bought this at a thrift store where I lived many years ago !!! I need to find a beautiful chain for it so I can wear it !!! Enjoyed your video very much !!! ❤️🙂
Thank you so much! It sounds like your painted mother of pearl brooch is beautiful! I hope you get to wear it soon- sounds like it would be a perfect Easter brooch with the Chickadee. Thank you for watching! ❤❤❤
I also have a moss agate brooch which I am completely in love with. Yes milk glass is not really being collected and seems to be pretty affordable these days, but I have been collecting it for over 25 years because I love it.
I’ve been seeing a lot of people using vintage milk glass dishes and serving wear in their home decor lately… maybe it will make a comeback in jewelry too! Who knows- but I’m glad to hear you love it too. I think it’s beautiful. Thanks for watching! ❤️❤️❤️
Before I forget, I watched an educational video all about the natural stone BLUE ZIRCON which are worth more than topaz & I believe that bar pin with the round blue stone, is a natural Blue Zircon which would make it more valuable.
I wish it was a blue zircon!! I saw Jason's video on his beautiful blue zircon collection. That would be fabulous if it was- but it is just glass this time! I will definitely be keeping an eye out for gemstones though. Thanks for the comment and for watching! ♥️♥️♥️
@@LittleBlueJewelryBox I also subscribed today. First time I saw a video of yours. Yes, I got my info from Jason, too. 😄. I’m old now & have some great brooches that my granddaughters are not interested in. I worked for a major oil company in their headquarters & wore a business suit or blazer every day & every day I wore a pin on my lapel. A few were given to me & are old but not marked (as far as I can see) but really unique. I feel bad that I cannot give them to someone in my family who would wear them. I guess I could bring them to a buyer of Vintage jewelry. I’m not far from Mew .york City. One of my very favorite pins is unique. It has gold metal base with seed pearls on the edges of points. It’s unique that the main part is angled carved black material - not plastic but I don’t know what it is. Anyway, we were on vacation in Worcester,, Ma in 1968 & I saw a small jeweler where one side of his store front had signs showing replicas of Victorian & earlier jewelry & that’s where I purchased it. I paid over $100 for it which was a lot of money at the time but I have loved that pin. For me it was worth every penny. Regards, Joan
I love that you got to wear brooches everyday!! I wish that trend would start again because I really do love them and think there are so many beautiful ones. It sounds like you have some wonderful brooches in your collection. Thank you for sharing and for watching! ♥️♥️♥️
@@LittleBlueJewelryBox thanks for nice reply. I mentioned m led jow & my granddaughters do not wear business suits in their particular jobs like I did. Therefore, no interest. When Bill Clinton was President, Madeline Albright was Secretary of State & she wore a pin on her lapel every day. I admired her collection & to wear them . This just for your info. Thanks, Joan
@@LittleBlueJewelryBox sorry, I have bad vision & had typos. What I said was I’m old now & my granddaughters don’t wear suits in their jobs so no interest.
That mourning ring looks like a wedding band. Perhaps the husband died and that is his hair. The swallow on the floral pin represents loyalty, faithfulness.
Thank you!! I collect and share here because I love it.😊 I do have a poshmark closet where I list some pieces- usually extra items that I get in jewelry lots that I don’t collect or pieces I decide to let go of. ❤️ Thank you for watching!
I have multiple display cabinets for the antique pieces- and I have some bins and drawers in my office for some of the costume items that I don’t have out on display. Some of my items have their own jewelry boxes that I keep them in. Thanks for watching! ❤️❤️
I do have a Poshmark closet with some jewelry items- but I do not sell directly from my channel. You can find me on Posh at BlueBoxFinds. Thanks for watching! ♥️♥️♥️
Have you watched any of Jason Adams videos? Hes an amazing person and jeweler/historian/curator/silversmith. Hes an expert on cameos and he would do an amazing job restoring your cameo.
