ANTIQUE SINGER 29K 4 INDUSTRIAL SEWING MACHINE (1902 PATCHER FOR LEATHER )  

Made in 1902 this Industrial Singer 29K 4 Sewing Machine is 120 years old and still well capable of stitching through 4 layers of leather and 5mm thick leather belts. In the correct hands and with someone who can use a treadle it can stitch much more. Known under many names like boot patcher, the cobbler, harness stitcher and the leatherworker. The 29K-4's reputation in shoe repair and leather workers circles is legendary, often being used on boots, shoes, leather handbags and sewing patches and back patches or colours on bikers jackets even today.
