Part II of my recap/reaction of America’s Next Top Model Season 18 Episode 7 is finally here!! I take through elimination, navigate very confusing feedback from the judges and take a look at the images created from the Estelle extreme dinner party photo shoot!
P.s I wasn’t that keen on my graphic eyeliner in this video, but feel free to let me know what you think! The constant sweating while filming this didn’t help! Lol and in case you're wondering my graphic print bodice is from British brand, Siobhan Molloy.

It always made me uncomfortable how they really hammered in the fact that Ebony had to look "young" with the pigtails and whatnot. They were trying SO HARD to push that image onto her and I was always very grossed out by it to be honest

I definitely thought your picture was one of the few that fit the brief well. The judges forever gave you a hard time too and I hated that 😂😂. You were consistently improving and turned out great pictures.

Kyle was s a b o t a g e d. The fact that Laura hated Kyle and was still the first person to say that Kyle was sabotaged on her social media when the show aired only goes to show how rigged this show is. And you can clearly see in the footage Kyle doing amazing poses, which is the weird part for me... if you want to sell the "fall from grace" narrative of an once frontrunner on the show shouldn't you edit the footage in a way that aligns with her actually performing badly?

It was also surprising that Kyle out of no where would turn out a very poor photo when she had not done badly in photoshoots before. They made the edit look like she ran out of steam and crumbled away.

Alisha is photogenic- she consistently produced great photos in BNTM and should have won her cycle based on her portfolio alone IMO. But it seems like she struggled taking good photos in ANTM (other then her Hello Kitty shot), so I wonder what happened.

BTW, love ya on Top Model Annaliese! Despite placing 3rd, the judges really liked to underestimate and underrate you throughout the entire competition. It was disturbing actually 😅

Hi Annaliese, have you thought about doing a recap with any of the other girls that you may still be in touch with? Like trough Zoom or Skype? Like Sophie or anyone else? Thank you for spilling, Annaliese. So much discrepancy and inconsistency in this episode. It almost felt like they wanted those first 3 girls to shoot (Laura, Alisha, and Kyle) to be in the bottom 3. I realized only now the unwarranted hatred of Laura towards Kyle. Its so unjustiafiable and uncalled for. And when Kyle did go home, she hated on Eboni. Btw, I looove your pic here.

No offense to Tyra, but her idea of modelling is stuck in the 80's. No one does these type of overly exaggerated poses anymore. Simone, Laura, and Eboni's poses were way too pretzely and would most likely never run in a magazine.

I dunno about everyone else, but part of why I love your channel so much is not because of ANTM, but your reviews and commentary. What if (and this is just a crude idea I just had) you considered doing some reviews on your channel? Maybe some fashion analysis or makeup reviews to marry your fashion tips videos. Maybe even some reactions to commercials from the UK and worldwide? Just a thought.

Kyle was set up to fail this week. She had been doing so good before. But Tyra just chose a photo to send her home. Her shooting was so good but the picture they chose........WHAT IN THE HELL. and BTW going AGAINST KELLY, you have had such better pictures from before. I mean the cars shoot with HF dresses, Maple Syrup! JEEZE Kelly. Analiesse was so good throughout ❤

With the Symone feedback, They should have photoshopped it out! All the money they paid Estelle's booking fee, they can spare 20-40$ or whatever it cost to remove that... So in your model money vid you explain pay for jobs and what not. Winning a vogue shoot, for example did Sophie get paid for that or is it part of the prize package and in turn could be considered the "sometimes you just gotta work for free!"? I also cant remember if that shoot was filmed for the show like in last seasons...

I have watched every episode and cycle. When girls leave I understand if you want to model, prove the judges wrong for sending you home. I've seen girls from past seasons like really go for it and made it far. I'm waiting for that one comment that one of the judges said about u because it really click in my head that I agreed with. It wasn't a bad critique, it was really beautiful critique that describe your personality. The question I'm asking is it worth auditioning rather it's Britain or America top model to learn about the industry or is it not worth it. Again this panel I loved your hair and makeup lol I'm like someone call her for a beauty campaign ASAP.

John Caceres IG you wanna learn about the industry it’s probably best just to head into the world of modelling. ANTM/ BNTM is more about entertainment. And if that the direction of your career goals then it makes sense

I seem to be in the minority here about Kyle--she was photogenic, sure, but I just did not see anything special about her. I think everyone else at this point (or maybe even earlier in the show) brought something more interesting to the table. That said, I don't think anyone really did badly on this shoot (as meh as the concept was), and your shot was really cute! Love your eyeliner look in the recap too :D

wayne tan hey nope sorry I haven’t done those.... they were my least fav. Ep 1 was ok watching it; but I don’t remember much and I really don’t have any extra info to add. My vid would just me nodding and smiling for 30 mins and no 1 wants that! Ep 2 was the Very shoot & challenge; me as the “fierce leader” I kinda cringe at that episode;.... so basically I’ve only cover episode that I enjoy and make me feel good! Lol

Hello Analisse LOVE your videos! Do you think the critique at judging played a toll on Alicia? I mean she was called first the week before, this week she was in the botton 2, next week after this she again got first call-out, I think it affected her energy level and ultimately left her unarmed that she decided to leave the competition. Did you and the other brits noticed if it affected her? After this episode Alisha started to grew apart from Sophie and I think is because the competetion affected her emotionally. Thanks 😘

@@MissAnnalieseDayes take your time. This shoot because you explained the discrepancy on the brief. I judged on a curve, no pun intended. Symone body shape alone was magical. Sophie love her, but I find it a bit too mean for me and her styling is questionable. You OMG, can you wear that aqua and a straight pony it was flawless. I agree your shoot was more commercial looking but your energy was dynamic as usual. I would have placed Kyle higher but, when you hear Thats your signature face your in trouble. Because down the line you will get hit with the Your one note line... Its a shame with Alisha because my god her legs are seriously dangerous. But this shot in Brit lingo was Rubbish, Too posh, and borderline lackluster... So its kinda unfair episode in general

I just noticed Sophie's pose in her shot in this episode is somewhat similar to what you did in the maple syrup photoshoot 😨. Same arm position, same animalistic character. The only diffence is, it was Sophie's 😱. And do booty tooch work all the time in posing? Just asking! Interesting review though Annaliese, keep em coming!

Can you address the rumour that Alisha was supposed to be the original winner? What was the view from all the girls in the house, did it seem that way to all you? And has anything been said post show from Alisha to confirm this was the case? Love all your videos 💙

Maybe. She only had 1 good photo in this cycle though and a great video. In her cycle in BNTM she has also a weak portfolio. The week Charlotte was eliminated over her was so shocking to me.

I don't get this shoot honestly. Was it supposed to be high fashion? It seems like it was supposed to but became more commercial? Also, from what Kyle said the dresses weren't fitting her so they stuffed a booty pad but I don't think it helped her because the dresses still looked shapeless on her. For your photo, love the energy! I did find your season of BNTM and have been watching them. The energy is so different between the shows. You still look the same (as in beautiful). Hopefully you can also talk about your time on there too!

PrincessAries86 it’s was a hard shoot to understand. Especially with the brief changing throughout the day. Nah there were definitely dressed that could have fit Kyle, if Sophie could make it work so could Kyle. Yeah maybe I’ll get on to BNTM but for right now I find it uncomfortable to rewatch.

@@MissAnnalieseDayes I understand if you can't. Just like with ANTM I love your insight. Speaking of the dress though with Kyle. I guess as a model you have to make the clothes work. Yet, then it makes me wonder why the butt pad... oh this shoot is just confusing lol.

Can I be honest. It felt like they were trying to set up Az to win the competition, until she got tired of it, and then once that happened, it seemed like the editing wanted to make Alysha the one to win and make Sophie a bad guy mid way through the cycle(Alysha commenting on her being fake at the Dorchester challenge and the whole situation with the clothes being just thrown on the floor in HK), since the edited versions of Kyle, and Simone were already booted. It's kinda weird. But then once Alysha quit, then it felt like oh yeah, let's just have Sophie win after all.

I just finished watching your season of BNTM and I was absolutely gutted that you were eliminated. And oh my goodness was Sophie unbearable to watch in the confessionals. My biggest disappointment however was that Jade was eliminated the one week she didn't do well in and there was no logical reason that Mecia won. #Jade was robbed. I kind of feel like they were looking for a reason not to give her the win because they felt she wasn't a good image for young girls and aspiring models. What do you think?

Asare Isaac very interesting. And I kinda agree... they would have been setting a bad example by making Jade the winner. She Obvz is an awesome model but it wouldn’t have looked right for the show.

I just don’t think any of the pictures really came out spectacular. I think it’s because now you told me that they confused everyone at the last minute. It kind of looks confused from everyone in these pictures. I actually really like yours though. I think it fits the energy of the background. Then I think everyone looked like they were doing different poses in the behind the scenes than what pictures they showed us.

The producers wanted her out of the show so for some reasone , they selected a bad photo when Jay choose better ones , so the judges could vote her off the show .. because we saw her pose better than that. Hmmm , my theory ..

Same sabotage as Catherine's elimination, there had to be better shots. Really wasn't a fan of this photoshoot, Estelle didn't really serve any purpose and was stuck as a backdrop. I like you with the blue!
