I like more of Laura's pictures, because she has a great talent on posing and she's stunning, but I can totally understand why Sophie won. Because Laura always gives the same face expression and Sophie varies and has more intensity on her face.
laura gives the same face expression? sophie has the same face for the whole season, that face down looking straight have been seen like 5 times to her pictures. no interesting to look at with her body and what so ever
I think Laura had the slightly better portfolio (Sophie admitted it herself) but Sophie was stronger in other areas and Laura came across maybe a little too tough in-person.
Wow I'm having second thoughts. I think Laura brought more to the table than Sophie did. She was that edgy model and she gave different and cool in every pose and shoot.
Sophie has the look but her poses are just kind of boring. Laura is not only stunning put her posing and facial expressions are on point. She really did deserve to win.
Laura's pics were better IMO, she's one of the most creative models pose-wise in ANTM history... and I think every Laura in every cycle has been good, for some uncanny reason... :)

Sophie looks like an actual model / actress / TV personality. She's more memorable. Laura aesthetically took the better pics but looked more like a pretty girl who just knew what she was doing and not really comes across as editorial model.
HOW IS IT RIGGED? TYRA CHOSE THE BRIT AND NOT THE YANKEE. LAURA IS SO PLAIN LOOKING AVERAGE AMERICAN GIRL. SOPHIE'S PICS WERE WAY MORE INTRIGUING. SHE DESERVED TO WIN.
Laura had one stunning look, but that's the issue, it was just ONE look the same face. Sophie had variety of poses in her fave and that's what I think made her win.
Sophie had the better personality. This show was never a modelling competition and Sophie was the better all-rounder with the more distinctive look and engaging presence.
This by far was one of my favorite cycles! I loved the concept, photoshoots, and the models were very memorable! I wish they tried this concept again against other models from France, Italy, Germany, Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Brazil, Africa, Asia, Caribbean, etc.

I personally find Laura more attractive, but agree on the fact Sophie has shown herself a bit more skilled - well, she was on the british contest, after all.
FOR ME... Based on this photos it was Laura: 6 and Sophie: 5 Really close one.. & Laura was MY FAVEEE and I wanted her to win BUT I think Sophie was more the total package Yanno?
i think laura is really good for high-end designer but still commercial where as sophie is very runway model/edgy editorial and i do think she slayed the cover girl commercial
I personally liked Sophie much better. Laura I did not really like how she was so serious and always fierce. She needed to lighten up. This is my opinion.
I had them evenly matched (5 for Laura, 5 for Sophie, and 2 where they were both underwhelming). Laura was amazing in most of the photos until you actually zoomed in on the face and saw there was nothing really going on. Her body positions were usually the better, but her facial expressions let her down due to lack of variety. People keep forgetting that there’s a difference between looking stunning and looking like a model.

THE RIGHT GIRL WON. Laura has the posing and movement aspect down, but Sophie is facially the more expressive one. Sophie just looks more memorable and has a much more engaging and likable personality.
They're honestly both not really strong in their photoshoots. Sophie is kinda boring and doesn't standout, Laura always turns and doesn't face the camera head on, always tilting to the side

Celso Nobre laura did'nt win because of her walk, not because she's not british , i like laura because her photos are so strong but her walks not strong but is good.. Sophie won bcoz she rock the final runway and video comercial and even the final photoshoot, and thats the reason why sophie got won... She nailed it, she deserved it..
Sophie won because she's likeable and more marketable. But she is no way a better model than Laura. Sadly, from cycle 17 it became a branding competition and not a modeling competition.

i love sophie but laura’s portfolio was a lot more high fashion. i wish laura won she was my fave but sophie is also so talented and sweet and also deserved the win
i honestly feel theyre neck in neck in terms of photo taking skill... laura has more variety while sophie does no wrong in everything she do... deserving winner i would say!

Sophie wins this for me, no doubt. Why? Even if we include the Vogue pictorial, Sophie is still on the top over Laura. Simply Sophie is an all around model aka chameleon model. She can do high fashion, editorial, commercial, runway etc. Plus she is happy model not Laura who thinks of competition throughout the whole cycle
To me, I felt Laura had the perfect balance: strong and soft! However, Sophie still has a better walk! I still think Laura's personality works in the industry!
Sophie's personality was bubbly, cute, and at some times better than Laura's. She is also better at runway, for she won most of those challenges. Laura's pictures were, at the most, better. She had a wild kind of playful attitude. The judges thought she couldn't handle stress, for her panick attack, but essentially her modeling and best products were better than Sophie's.
Laura did better than sophie in about 5 pics but Sophie rocked this season! I'm so glad she won, the british girls were SO much better not only at modeling but their personalities shone a lot brighter than the Americans.
The only one Sophie was beeter at was the one in Syrup,the one at the table,and the one in Hello Kitty.I don't know why the judges believe Sophie was better than Laura.Laura's face at the tower thou.SO BEAST!!
Sophie had the better Dream Come True and Covergirl photos, and we all know that the sponsors choose the winner for this show. Plus Sophie was just more likable and had a more memorable look. She was someone who you'd see walking down a runway. Laura was the pretty girl who could take great pictures but could be confused with many other pretty girls.

Sophie was the total package. Great pics, great personality, great walk. And she engaged with the camera. Too many of Laura’s poses have her looking away.
Laura's portfolio is stronger, unfortunately her weakest is the dream shoot and she got sick during the covergirl shoot. Sophie is a complete package though with good walk, great portfolio and amiable personality.
