Melrose was great at commercials also and her photos werent bad either. Cari just won because she was the bubbly one... But she was just Soooo extra and lacked of professionalism.

Same for celebrities that borrow dressed snd tuxes for the Oscars, Golden Globes etc. They’re returned in awful condition and restored. A ripped dress is not that big of a deal.
But fashion shows are also about making a statement, just ask Alexander Mqueen. That dude showed stained dresses and ripped off clothes...but well thats another story. I understand your point but in this case, Melrose just did it to make Cari look like a bitch.
Tbh the fact the dress was ripped went good with the theme of the runway I found so I didn't find it was bothering that much I mean they were supposed to be some sort of monster-ghost women so the fact the dress was ripped isn't that bothering. If it were something more glamorous then ok it would've been more but I just think Melrose wanted to exaggerate so that people would dislike Cari

Years later and even with being a huge hometown fan of Caridee watching the cycle again as an adult Melrose was the clear winner and very misunderstood. I can’t believe how much bias I held. She’s not a bitch but rather a fierce competitor.

The dress fault is due to Melrose. I think if she didn't over exaggerated the disc walk, like she walk and turn clockwise it wouldn't rip. But she chose to do it anticlockwise therefore the chances of getting the fabric being torn is highly. The models in that runway didn't do anticlockwise in disc part only Melrose did 😂😂
I love both of them, and yes, Melrose walk was better and I hated that CariDee keep on lifting the dress up walk better, I mean, most of the fashion model walk how they can with actually showing the dress and by keep on lifting it it didn't show it properly!
The reason why Caridee win is easy, she has a younger look that fit with cover girl and seventeen so the sponsors choose her and because of that the editor and judges give us the illusion of Caridee is best fit while even with selective editing, we can see feel how great Melrose has been!! It was all business nothing real in the reality tv show, look at the runway, even Melrose’s cover girl photo is a bit weaker but this runway she kicked Caridee ass to another different level... I mean, come up
In term of personality, Melrose has been mistreat by the girls, calling bitch, and she still perform well and keep it together, who’s get a better personality...

JessyBSBfan I think so too. But Melrose is a bitch. I hated her bitchy attitude during the whole show so I was glad she did not win (even though I think she deserved it based on modeling alone). This goes to show that you need to be nice or it will bite you in the ass. I really really think the judges or producers of the show picked Caridee based on likability. You can't have a winner that everyone hates. That would have been a very stupid move on their part.

This was a great season...honestly I thought melrose would get it..her attitude wasnt the best but she could work a runway and her photos were gorgeous...she definitely did better on this walk...I like Caridee and she had some gorgeous pics as well but it really shocked me when she won.
i did not see cameras there. how the hell did all the camera angles get taken? i heard that for reality t.v. they redo some scenes to get all angles.... i bet they did that for this too.
