It all makes sense now. I remember watching and thinking she’s like the only one on that season that undoubtedly looks like a working model. I couldn’t understand what they were missing especially with Tyra being the head of the show. I saw Eugena once in a small boutique in nyc and when she walked in I was like wtf? Just skin, cheek bones, and lips walking through the door. I was speechless. She is even more beautiful in person and nice might I add. Every time I see her in an ad I feel like her cheerleader! So happy for her! Now let’s find her a Billionaire!

Years ago I suggested Tyra did a coffee table book of a compilation of the photos of the seasons. Mostly the pictures we didn’t get to see and I know one of the reasons it was never done was because it would’ve exposed the fact that the “best” shots were not always the ones put on the show.

I met Eugena during the summer at the BLM rally. She was so sweet and fun to chat with 😁

I can see why Tyra didn't like Eugena because Eugena was always very unbothered and matter-of-fact with Tyra and took things at face value...just like Naomi's personality. Tyra expects the contestants to "kiss the ring" and worship her even as the show is traumatizing them, and Euguena wasn't going to play the game. If you go back and look at the clips of Naomi when she was on Tyra's talk show, Tyra was struggling the entire time trying to dig some cathartic, dramatic apology out of Naomi, and Naomi remained unbothered the entire time and made Tyra look crazy lol. It's easy to see why Tyra had this mission to "humble" Eugena. And I remember after a judging test where Eugena had to act out a word for the judges and dance "flirtatiously," Tyra said she reminded her of Naomi getting ready for a photoshoot. Hmm....

Eugena is so funny!! I live for her! The show did NOT show her personality at all. And you can tell with this interview that she is so fun, carefree and strong!! Love, love, love her!!

She kicked ass; won most of the challenges & I KNEW they were doing her dirty choosing her “best shots”. Eugena was the most successful contestant post-show of her cycle. Period! She was just the victim of a bad edit and politics. They wanted to finally crown their blonde white winner and while Caridee is likable, Eugena was always the most clearly stunning and modelesque contestant there. Cheekbones for days!

I hate that "humble yourself" expression too. Eugenia is exactly right in saying she can like herself, be confident, and show it.

It’s interesting to hear these women come on here and share their experiences on the show. One thing I’ve noticed a lot of them don’t end up watching their seasons or the next previous seasons and it makes me think if it’s because of trauma or it triggers bad memories. I like Tyra for the good she has done like putting lgbtq people on tv and she gave us an iconic show but her saying she wants to uplift young girls is complete trash she exploited all these young girls for entertainment, she can stay quiet all she wants but this will follow her forever.

I have a theory why Tyra doesn’t like Eugena: It’s because she posed for playboy. Tyra doesn’t like girls who did escorting (Angelea) and girls who pose for playboy (Adrianne Curry) because it “tarnishes” the ANTM brand. Remember Adrianne said that one of the reasons she did playboy was to give Tyra the middle finger.

This interview was really good. I love the Eugena kept it real the whole time. In her seasons, she couldn’t do nothing right according to them. Tyra, girl, the people wanna know the fuck is going on. So what I got from this video was: 1.) Eugena is still gorgeous 😍 2.) I never got the appeal of Eugena because they edited out her personality on the programme. I rarely saw anything from her, wasn't sold on a lot of her photos, I was meh on her. But of course, her personality is so much better in person and I'm glad to like her from this
