Any Android Fix Unable to send text messages to short codes or Premium SMS services Failed error 

Works for my samsung s7 edge 1) settings 2) apps 3) three-dot menu -> special access 4) use premium sms services 5) message service -> always allow

I have been desperately trying to stop incoming premium rate texts which incurred a charge each time, but got 'could not send' whenever I tried to text 'stop' to the sender's shortcode. After watching your video I've adjusted the Premium SMS Services settings on my messaging app, and as a result I've sent my SMS and stopped those pesky texts and associated charges. Wonderful!

Great Thanks! I've got the same issue, my handset is dual SIM. I followed this instruction then SIM 1 is ok , it can send sms to short code but problem still at SIM 2 which cannot send SMS to SC.

Thank you! I was broke my old phone in peaces when i pissed of due to this problem! This solution is hard to find for normal users... Android doesn't have this option in regular message settings. My settings are currently set on "Ask".

I also have the Galaxy Note 8. Went in to "Settings', then in the 'search' icon I typed in "Allow premium text messaging" and it worked. My brother had to call T-Mobile and the technical support team walked him through it.

Thank you for the video, for the first time I can now send text messages!

It takes a really long time (20-30) for my messages to get sent. It says Sending and keeps buffering for that amount of time. It also takes that long for me to receive messages from other people. I've taken the battery out for a while, repacked it and powered the phone back on...didn't help. I've emptied the data and cache in my factory app for messaging...didn't help. I deleted almost all of my text messages...didn't help. I went through a process to 'wipe cache partition'... didn't help. Is there any solution for me besides Factory Reset?

This...isn't an option for me in my messaging app. I have a Galaxy SJ7 Star, and while I've not been able to send short code SMS's for awhile, I know my phone is up to date and just had an update a few days ago. I have checked all over for a similar option to this permission setting and no dice. My SMS switch is already toggled on and it gives no option to even select anything related to premium messages. I'm searching Google for answers but so far, nada. Any suggestions? Edit: Found another video that helped me. For my phone, when you go into the app settings/permissions, at the top-right, there are three dots and from there, you can click the option for premuim messaging and choose to see it for Always or to Ask each time you send one. This has been nagging me for months and so nice to have it solved, finally!

I did exactly what you said an it did have all the areas that you mentioned. So when I picked always allow, I'm still getting the Service Access Denied logo an I don't know what the problem would be. is this something extra that I would have to pay for on my service plan for me to get the code to work? this is my first time using a code, I heard a code mention on the radio for me to type that code in and a word and when I did that is what popped up as my answer service access denied. so let me know if I have to contact my phone carrier which is T-Mobile to see if I can get this to work. I'm fairly new with smartphones and I only had my phone for about a year and still there is lots I do not know about it and have no one to ask these questions too because I am getting close to becoming a senior. so any information that you can help me out with would be much appreciated thank you so much for your time
