I pray you see this because I see this was posted 4 years ago. I had my roof repaired after damage due to weather. The roofer who repaired my roof did an awful job. Water has been pouring in my house behind the wall coming from up under my sealed unused chimney. The flashing was not done correctly around the base of the chimney where it meets with the medal roof he put on. I plan to buy this product this coming September. I'm disabled and on a fixed income. I can't afford to pay to have my roof repaired again. I've followed your videos, paying close attention to your use of toilet paper. I'm going to see how this works out. Thanks

What is the white paper you put on top of the Poly seal ? (I've gone back on the replies) and not found any replies to comments...is there a reason for this??? ( I ,too, may be another non reply/answer,,but hope not !!) Thanks
Lexel is almost like Geocell. I have used Geocell a lot in the past and found that it does not stay adhere for a long time. It shrinks adds stress to the surface it adheres to, eventually coming loose
Thankyou. Saved me going out and buying some tar anyhow. I can't get this product. But I can get what certainly seems to be similar called isoflex liquid rubber. Easier to get than tar would you believe it.
I have several leaks in my roof. I want to seal every bolt and around the vents. Should I use turbo poly seal? Or there seems to be a ton of metal roof tape that has made great advances. Any information would be super helpful to this mom stuck fixing her own roof. Thanks!
I have a garage with metal roof. An extension was built next to it. The gutter from the original open garage was left to collect the rain on both roofs. Since then a ceiling was installed to minimize the heat from sun. There has been a downpour of rain lately and we discovered water leaking from the ceiling where the 2 roofs meet the gutter. What can we do to solve this issue? My theory is that rain pouring from both roofs collide in the gutter causing a backsplash???
Ok, the white fabric we use with the Turbo Poly Seal is a Fleece made from Polyester. It is super strong and that is what makes this product stand out. Epoxy won't work because it does not have the same elasticity or flexibility as that of Turbo Poly Seal
Is ti safe to stand on a roof like this? Mine is like this one and was scared of falling through. I can't see any seams near the edge so I need to get on it I guess.
Can I use this product on my van roof? A seam is a bit rusty and leaking. I just want to seal it, no need to look pretty, although I'm happy to spray over a white coat if the Turbo Poly Seal can accept it?

Hey Ben. I am shocked what people pick up on my videos. You noticed that in this video there was no wind when applying the Turbo Poly Seal. I was shocked myself because in all the other videos I constantly fighting the wind. Good Catch. You deserve a reward for good observation. I am planning better videos. My next video is a test between Turbo Poly Seal, Super Silicone Seal, Flex Seal Liquid, Flex Seal Spray. I try to add little touch of entertainment and excitement. Applying over old Tar is like sleeping under a bed sheet and then just throw another clean sheet over the dirty one. I think most people use common sense and take the dirty sheet off before putting the clean one on. But maybe you don't change sheets. It is all about what you think. Will the old Tar be good enough to go over or will it dry up and crack. It is hard to tell you what is best to do but I prefer to remove the old stuff and start fresh.
Hi: thanks for schooling me on Metal roofs - now attempting to fix a Mobile home roof. Most of the screw heads are rusty, of course some leak (I will replace those). Would I need to replace/ clean them prior to putting down Super Poly Seal or the Silicone seal? And do we always need the cloth?
I suggest not to use cloth over the screws. Just wire brush over and around the screws and then a dab of Super Silicone Seal. If you are planning to replace some screws, get 1 size larger than what you currently have. I think you should invest in an angle grinder with a hard wire brush to clean around the screws. That seems to work the best for me. You could also use Turbo Poly Seal but then I recommend coating the Turbo Poly Seal after curing to protect it against UV's. The Super Silicone Seal does not need a protective coating. You could send me pics of your project and I will be able to better help you with what to do. Send the pics to my Tel. at 203 858 0080

It is flammable. Like the Karnak Tar or any bituminous product used in roofing. So, this is a combination of Bituminous and Urethane Resins. I guess the same Flash Point or less than that of oil based urethane paints you use to paint furniture inside a house.
My roof is leaking it has shingles on it im gonna put a tin roof on over top of the shingles so do i haft to patch the leak before i put the tin roof on
I have a flat metal roof too. My is leaking between the vertical wall and horizontal roof like an L shape. I have layered asphault felts and tar last year. But, the felts I bought was too thin. Now it’s peeling, and every time it’s raining, it’s is leaking. With the felts cover all the areas, its very hard to tell all the connections and screws. I am wonder if there are many different or thicker felts that last longer? Any suggestions? Love your video!
Ok I am not clear about the "felts" you refer too. Is that the asphalt-saturated cotton that you used with tar? If so, the tar will dry out and the cotton felt will tear. I suggest Turbo Poly Seal or Super Silicone Seal. If you are outside the US, you need to look for some Silicone Coating along with a Polyester Fabric material. The Polyester fabric is very strong but will not withstand the UV's. So it must be covered 100%
Flat Roof Doctor I live 30 mins from Atlanta. So I guess I have to use a blow torch to remove the old tar and felt. I can’t even see where all the screws and seams anymore. I have checked that product at Home Depot, I don’t see if they are selling that.

I prefer to use Turbo Poly Seal because it has a thick viscosity. It will not run that easy on slanted areas. I use Super Silicone Seal a lot because it will not deteriorate in a UV environment. The Turbo Poly Seal is extra good when you add a Silver Coat Protection over it.
Doesn't look pretty, but damn it lasts and is able to withstand any weather mother nature throws at it. Thankfully the vast majority of metal roofing problems that this solves will never be visible to people.
Turbo Poly Seal is $200 a gallon and it's just okay stuff. The best option is to buy Blackjack Eterna-kote Silicone, it's $300 for 4.75 gallons and it's way better than Turbo Poly Seal. It also sticks to more types of surfaces. Do not buy Turbo Poly Seal it's way overpriced and not nearly as good as Blackjack Eterna-kote. There is no other surface as good as the one you get from Eterna-kote, and I've tried many different ones. Do not get Liquid Rubber either, it sucks. And very hard to clean up
Hi, What product comes close to this that isn't so expensive? I love watching and learning from your videos but can't afford the products you use so there has to be a cheaper alternative. My husband is dead set on adhesive tar to roll on. Lord have mercy on men set in there old ways lol
when you inserted the screws the metal was flexing. It means you are not a good joist. It will not leak because the polyseal will seal it but the metal sheet fixing job is sloppy.
@@dinarservice101 Hey Robert. I am sorry, but I don't know anything else out there that is as good as Turbo Poly Seal. What you may do is find a Modified Bitumen Adhesive, as In Karnak 81 or 66 and then buy Henry's polyester fleece in a 5" roll at a Home Depot and apply it the same way I do it with Turbo Poly seal. The Polyester fabric is what will give it its strength

Why would you have to seal the seam? The seam is meant to overlap on the down flow water shouldn't be sitting on or in the seam. But I get it shit happens
This illustration was meant to show you how a leak starts. After several years of leaking the water between the 2 panels cause them to rust. This repair is when you were too late to prevent rusting and what to do now. Use your imagination lol Hmmm come to think about it, this 3D animation took away your imagination. Just kidding with you. NOTICE: While HE is holding the camera - SHE is visible in the shot. Now...when the Flat Roof Doctor was down on the deck working with both hands -- the Hot Assistant had simply vanished! Oh, dang!. @@thekingtroll2 If it's under warranty then it would probably be fixed for free. My metal roof is not under warranty and I can use what I want. If it is a professional watching this to see what to use on a roof, well I don't like the idea of a professional roofer watching RU-vid to learn how to fix my roof.
