The Slot is a siltstone slot canyon located 15 miles from the traffic circle in Borrego Springs. We had an easy time finding it because we had cell signal all the way to the trailhead, but the turn off onto the dirt road had sings that were easy to see from the road, and the trailhead was clearly marked in the parking lot. I believe the signage and the bathrooms are all fairly new because most reviews I've read say that there were no signs and they had a hard time finding the correct trail. We went in Nov of 2021 and it was well marked and easy to find at that time.
I've done Palm Canyon and Hellhole Canyon in Anza, but The Slot is my new favorite hike in this park. Check out the awesome scenery for yourself.
