This Splatoon vs Minecraft match was pretty great. I did goof a few things (I don't know where the weak tokens went either, I guess we both forgot) but I learned a lot, too. Was my first time playing Gargamox. :)
This was an awesome match, and i loved having played against umbral for the vid. A few moves were mistakes, others were accidental big brain. Overhaul very fun :D
@@Bluecho4 perhaps I didn't know what I was doing when I first played the house. Though I think you will have to admit that two of Deadsouls' victories (this one and their first) were very map dependent. On the first, if they weren't able to be pulled into the monster in the center, there's no telling how the game could have gone. In this one, if it wasn't for the starting positions being so walled up already, then Deadsouls wouldn't have been able to box up Gargamox so effectively.
Love the new map! I'd be curious to see an IRL game of Maleghast, with actual miniatures and a board. I'm working on a few warbands of my own for that purpose. Deadsouls ability to drop walls every continues to be very strong - maybe next time they're up try a starting map with little to no walls at the start? see if that helps? Both players did really well here tho, that was some awesome play. Love to see more like this!
We've been adding them to the TTS for a long time now. :3 It has a lot of custom alternate art for necromancers, both from the book and from various artists.
This looks a lot better than Roll20! If you use it in the future, I would just advise not breaking the 180° rule. If one side starts on the left and the other on the right, whenever a shot is framed so that the sides are reversed the viewer's sense of direction is thrown off, and the map stops making sense.
i think that deadsouls are way weaker on an empty map (and that was and usually is the way i play with friends) because they dont have any walls already set up. Also the slime wouldnt have been such a bad choice considering that it can dish out plague tokens, and they bypass magic armor - so if they were to percolate in round one they could have dealt some nice dmg as the game lasted 4 rounds
Perhaps starting and finishing each round with a kinda-angled top-view on the same spot would help keep track of things. It was more pretty but it was hard to follow what was happening
Quick question, I started playing maleghast on tabletop simulator, how do you get premade maps? also maybe a sillier question but how do you place the monoliths
