The sheer strategic genius of fighting an obstacle-based army on a field full of obstacles while somehow interpreting every single rule as disadvantageously to yourself as possible.
Right? That adjacency ruling not applying to the courses the unit is LITERALLY standing on... Like props to you for following it but if it were me, I'd declare it a damn stupid ruling and elect not to follow it
"Within 1 space" means 1 space or closer. Welp, teaches me to watch the vid first. Anyway better luck next time! Not getting those tokens did set you back quite a bit though.
Love to see Maleghast content! I've been so into this game recently and I hope you continue this series (your videos are the best ones I've seen for the game!)
Love seeing some more Igorri! As far as your luck in special scenarios goes, you could try playing against a Black Mass that isn't Dead Souls. The smaller battlefield/increased terrain in special scenarios make it much easier for Dead Souls to wall you in. Dead Souls are already a very dangerous gang when used by someone who understands them and having a battlefield that suits them only makes it worse. It might also be worth running a tyrant with wall-destroying capability, not just against Dead Souls but also in general. Instead of gnashing your teeth when the terrain gets in your way you just Kool Aid Man your way through.
My favorite house finally arrived. Keep it up, I love watching your videos. When RU-vid notifies me, it doesn't take me a second to see them and analyze your games
i personally think stiches are really great in igorri. They are great fodder and resorce providers. 2 lycans and a humunculs were probably to much. To manny things needing to be enabled, way to few things to enable them.
Hey, can anyone explain how mutation tokens work, exactly? My friend ran into some trouble when we tried Igorri, and we both got confused. Can you use mutation tokens on a unit as either strength, speed or vitality? Or, what?
I think an oder of operations would have helped you a lot. It should be pick a map, pick an army, then play. You were missing a lot of information since you made an army first than a map.
5:33 A unit is considered adjacent for targeting if it is *within* 1 space, even diagonally. If something is 1 space _or closer,_ it's adjacent. So yes eating corpses you're standing on with homunculus is legal by the existing reading.
I'm conflicted on if I actually want try playing maleghast for myself, it seems really cool, but the more I watch the more I can't help but think, DANM, dead souls seem unfun as hell to fight
Dragonkid11 just causally dropping “yeah I talked to the dev and he called me a dumbus for not getting the adjacency rule” like no big deal. Also I disagree btw it is pretty confusing. Adjacent tends to mean “next” to you and specifically *not* occupying the same space. I guess the idea is that it’s adjacent in terms of height?
