Pro scouting tip on this map. Everything spawns symmetrically including treasures. So if you find a tier 2 treasure, one will spawn in the exact same spot on the opposite side of the map. I think there are two decent treasures mid map and 4 on the sides, if memory serves me well.

The water 🌊 on this map makes it *a lot* better. Monitors (and to a lesser extent other ships) can be the late game stalemate breaker, which makes up for the lack of minor civilisations.

once had a 2v2 game devolve into my otto f/up cav archers into his f/up tatar archers and it was closer than you'd think for otto. The russian ones were a bit better stat wise (much tankier) but the better animation of flight archery plus irregulars allowed my otto to cancer raid or take good fights. backed by abus, it felt pretty darn good but I think for 1v1 not room to really card otto cav archers that level. anyways great game ggs!
