It still uses your phone's internet and GPS for navigation. That is how Android Auto and Carplay work. Onboard GPS is only used to record GPS coordinates of the videos or for the device's dashboard, if it has one. How do you find the screen legibility on bright sunny days?
Can you also tell if does this show bike routes? Like avoid expressways and all? I believe carplay and android auto only support navigation routes for cars and not bikes. Please confirm this.
@@gaurangnaik850 I believe that issue is still there with Google Maps. Google still considers Android Auto as a car-only feature. Apps like OSMAnd support motorcycle routing if you rearrange Motorcycle as the first profile. But OSMAnd routing is nowhere as good as Google Maps, probably due to lack of traffic data and errors in OSM in general.
