Are the drives sata to the board, or does it connect via USB?

Motherboard pcie connects a sata board to 2 sata ports.

The fan is 92x92x14 (aka slim 92mm), and someone in the comments on aliexpress said they had it working with a 32GB stick of Crucial DDR4 SO-DIMM, 3200 MT.

@@serhatguler2935 The fan is quieter than the hard drives, really not an issue. At IDLE (Proxmox with 10+ LXC containers), CPU 32°C; NVME 38°C, HDD 26°C. With the drives spinning I get CPU 41°C, NVME 45°C and drives 35°C.
