Same I’ve literally put 500 laps in and can’t seem to go faster than a 1:29.3 I can’t even process how someone can do a 1:26

i think as long as you have the outer wheel not touching the green astroturf on the inside of each kerb it's valid

License times always change with the current LFM track record - which you can check on their website. The Mercedes actually got slower with the 1.9.1 update but my time was driven on that patch.

I actually tried it on stream in the races after I set the WR. Laptimes were around .7 off. Zolder is a bit special though as you need some good suspension settings for the curbs. On other tracks the difference might only be .5 which is still quite a lot of course.

Practice, cut shicanes, practice, get your brakeing points right, practice, master first corner on 2nd gear instead of 3rd, practice, turn into corners earlier than you think you should, practice, try Ferrari 296 Fr3d0lf safe quali setup from youtube, and practice even more. At the start of this LFM week i didn't know this track and I was not able to finish even one lap without track limits warning. My PB was around 1:34.0. After 2 days i was able to consistently drive 1:30.5 consecutive laps and my PB is 1:29.3.

update: 1:30:4 with ps5 controller , my max rotation is lower than yours and i cant understand why, my car goes like on rails with tc at 1 and i cant maximise more the entry turns cuz i have no rotation of the car, maybe with setup i can make the car more oversterring or something , but actually i cant do more

I managed to do a 1:28.717 just after pitting in a six hour race here in the M4 a while back, at about 22 degrees with 80L of fuel and a relatively safe setup because I was getting used to new controller sensitivity settings. That seems to be the key. Took a while to get used to it, but turning off steering assist and using a lower gamma setting made me faster overall. If you're not used to being super precise with the stick (I used max sensitivity in shooters for example), a Kontrol Freek or some other extension on the left stick would help. I'm sure a 1:27 is doable in quali or if you know how to make a fast setup that isn't too unstable, unlike me lmao

Unless you're a mad lad 😅 Sorry, I just remembered I did another race at Zolder the other day after buying the 2023 pack last week for the new cars. Just found the screenshot I took in the third stint, about 12 minutes after a pit. 1:28.562 in the Ferrari 296 with 75L of fuel, but it was "only" 18°C as it went from 7 to 10pm. That's faster than I did in quali so I should go back with no fuel and keep trying lol Edit: just went back to try again in a free practice session. Managed to do 1:27.907 at 24/33°C with low fuel but just invalidated by a hair on the first chicane, and the first two corners were bad. This might be doable lol

Why would you drive without TC and especially without ABS? You 100% need ABS. With some cars TC off works but not with all the cars and also not on all the tracks.
