Assemble Aoshima Honda Dream 50
This is my second Aoshima model in my life.
I'm grateful for the kit that perfectly reproduces the 50cc bike.
By following the instructions you can build a street legal bike with the HRC kit or a regular version without the HRC kit.
This is a low-priced yet luxurious conversion kit that comes with two types of aluminum-like plated parts and iron-plated parts with different textures.
It also comes with hardware to attach the bib plate, so I wish the bib plate was included.

This time it will be a race specification.
It's a bit confusing, but there seem to be three types of Dream 50 for racing.
(1) Those with HRC parts retrofitted
(2) Full-scale specifications that incorporate HRC parts from the beginning.

When I looked into it, I found out that it's quite customized, especially in America, so I didn't worry about it and made it.
Aoshima seems to have released the Dream 50 for racing in the past, and looking at the box art, it seems to be the type with HRC parts added later.

In the case of a small-scale motorcycle model, the quality can be improved by thinning the parts.
It is better to replace the spokes of the wheel.
However, since the nipples are overscaled and I felt uncomfortable, I thought that a 1/12 scale motorcycle model would be better without the nipples, so I removed the nipples.

The figure was created with a retro racing atmosphere in mind, assuming a 50cc limited race in the United States.
We are looking for a stress-free way to scratch figures in a short time without sacrificing the charm of the bike model.
I'm not very good at it right now, but I'll do my best to improve my skills by making more figures.

I made it to imitate the starting line of a circuit to give it the atmosphere of a circuit.
All paints are acrylic gouache except surfacer.
For brush painting, water-based acrylic paints that can be used in the same way as familiar paints are the best.
By the way, acrylic gouache is completely matte.
I bought two Dream 50s, so I plan to replace them with CR110s.
Next time I would like to make an SR400.
