it's still not bad into ap kat as it directly counters burst damage, no matter if physical or magic. i don't think it was meant to be a build into kat though, as obv if it was me building it i'd have just gone force of nature instead of dd on that mf.

katarina is only strong if she gets kill, in addition to being a difficult champion to play she is easily destroyed in the ultimate if the enemy team has crowd control, so no, she is not a broken champion

Titanic is better than Ravenous, it gives her more on-hit damage (and this is what makes Katarina do tons of damage) especially against tanks, even for the AOE in the case of Katarina, Titanic's Cleave > Ravenous' Cleave. Not to mention that it gives her more durability. BT is literally not even an option for her lol.

@@darksora8046 As you said "when you're ahead", when you're ahead & fed everything can work on most of the champions but you won't be ahead every single time so it won't work in intense matches. BT & IE?! That's literally an ADC build that mostly works with auto attacks, where is the fun in that?! Katarina's abilities don't scale with crit, they scale with either AP (better make sure to build Nahor's tooth) or AD/AS/On-hit by building specific items (like BOTRK, Divine Sunderer, Wit's end, Kraken Salyer, Guinsoo's Rageblade & Titanic Hydra). Her kit in general is literally about spamming abilities not AA. Like what's the meaning of her Voracity if you're going to rely on AA to do damage?! Because at that point your AA would be stronger than all of your abilities.

@@Blank_Horizon well those items gives quite a bit of ad and generally i auto the enemy when i cant one shot them (league of tanks yknow) but i understand that going something like titanic into randuins is the better choice

@@darksora8046 Even though Katarina's abilities scale with both AP & AD yet they're considered as magical abilities (Except the ultimate ofc, which is divided as both physical and magical ability). So things like high AD, lethality, armor penetration... won't work with her kit. What makes the AD build viable is the on-hit actually (that works with her E, slashes & ult) and not the AD itself (that's why AD Katarina wasn't a thing only when Riot added the on-hit effect to her kit by preseason 11). Katarina's ult scales with AS speed too that's why items like BOTRK, Wit's end, Guinsoo's Rageblade, Kraken Salyer work on her, since they provide both on-hit & AS. With that said, AD has the early advantage due to the lack of abilities while still leveling up, so you don't have too many options but to rely on AA at some points, and AA are stronger with AD compared to AP ofc. Also the lack of damage, since there is no base AP and you definitely need golds to build it (which takes time). But after level 6, the AD build starts to fall off while AP build starts to scale. And by the mid-late game, AP build becomes much stronger especially in team fights.
