Dale Taco lol well I actually already graduated so it's a little late for that 😂 but if you wanna know I took two out of the three and made 5's on both. The third one was AP Calculus and I was too dumb for pre-ap pre cal as a junior so I opted out of AP Calc as a senior. I took a dual enrollment math class instead.

I agree but it all depends on how hard one worked. If one worked really hard and expected a 5 but got a 4 then it's justifiable to be a little upset. However, if you half ass the class and don't really study and get a 4 and complain about it, then it's annoying.

I got a four in APUSH. The reason I complained was because I was being too hard on myself. I still am (low key) salty but that’s because I’m so sick and tired of being around peers that are smarter than me and I feel like I’m a failure of a student compared to them. I’m learning to be less harsh on myself though, but yeah . Fours are great, it was just hard for me to accept because i was surrounded in an environment where the test was treated like a 5 or nothing scenario.

Taking 7 APs as a junior was one of my worst decisions. I was able to do really well and get an A in each class and a 4+ on every test except Microeconomics (barely got a 2). I think Covid-19 was to blame. My economics textbook was trapped in my shut down high school and I had a rough time learning it all and reviewing when so much was going on. The silver lining for my upcoming senior year is my school switched up the scheduling guidelines and I could not have more than 10/15 of my schedule be weighted credit. Hello sleep, goodbye thicc GPA!

JT Jones Some schools offer 0 (early morning) and 7(after school) classes. Last semester, I was a sophomore taking 8 classes.

JT Jones my school does block schedule, so 4 classes for half the year, and the other 4 for the rest. It’s basically a full year of a class crammed into a 1/2 year

Adding on to the comments here, there are also some APs that are only a semester long. AP US govt, micro, and macro are usually taken in some combination of 2. The guy in this video took AP Physics C Mechanics, actually that’s also a half semester class as well. The other half is Electricity and Magnetism, which is by far a lot harder than Mechanics. Depending on where you are I guess you can also take online APs, I have known people who have taken up to 9 APs and probably could do more if they really wanted to.

One of my proudest high school accomplishments is that I was able to get every grade on the ap scale; 1 score of 1, 1 score of 2, 2 scores of 3, 3 scores of 4 and 1 score of 5. Congrats! My score of 1 was for computer science so I’m impressed

I got a 4 in AP bio too. My teacher was also really slow but I guess she wasn't that bad if I only studied the day before and got the score I did. AP lit I manage to pull it up to a 93.4, lucky in my school the AP English/Lit teachers never give out A's. No one in my school has gotten an A in that class.

Wait does your state require lab periods? I'm in NY, which requires alternating days to have lab periods (usually alternating with gym), so I can't take all those sciences as an elective, unless I wanna chew up more time.

i’m super late but hopefully you or someone else can reply. isn’t your science classes double days? how did you manage to take that many APs? i’m taking 6 next year but couldn’t take science classes because they are on double days. (Don’t worry, i’m an exceptional honor student!!) i also have a question about taking APs that your school doesn’t have, i want to take Physics C and Computer science bc i personally love those and have experience in it teaching my self for years but my school doesn’t have these classes. If my school offers 0 AP course, does it lower my chance of being accepted? My school is gifted public school, and all the 13 subjects they teach are in advance and exams are hard as sh**. And getting a GPA of 9 out of 10 took great strengths and determination and I got 9.1 in sophomore and 9.2 in junior year, and I intent to get higher this senior year.

Just wondering, did your school use weighted averages? My school uses a 100 point scale, unweighted, and I haven't found anyone else in my same boat. My overall isn't great (93 as of now), although I'm a sophomore taking two AP's and all the rest of my classes are honors. I'm looking to pull it up to a 94 by junior year, as that's a pretty good average, given my classes and the fact that all of my grades are totally unweighted. I'm on track to take 4 or 5 AP's junior year (depending on what classes I get into), and 7 senior year, along with calc 3 and linear algebra, which are taken through the local college. What do you think, just overall, of how I'm looking in terms of grades?

Next year I am taking.... (probably unless I switch to anatomy) bio, chem, macro, micro, calculus AB, literature, and chinese. Mostly I’m concerned about chemistry because everyone said that was hell lol. This year (in like 3 weeks / I’m a junior) I have physics 1 and 2, euro, language and Apush (my least favorite class.... homework’s are hell). But I really have to start studying for physics 😳

First 5 seconds in and I already signed up for 7 AP’s my senior year... Love that for me, senioritis finna hurt 😔 These are the APs in case you’re curious: • AP Calculus AB • AP Statistics (doubled up on math because math is my favorite subject but probs going to regret it oof) • AP Biology (my major in college is bio-based, so this just makes sense) • AP Human Geography (it was either this or a social issues class with the stem program so I just went with this) • AP English Literature (let’s see if i actually end up reading any of the books, but i love the teacher for lit and im already a teacher’s pet 🤠) • AP Spanish Literature (I’m president of Spanish Honor Society and I have to take a Spanish class every year and I took Lang this year so, rip i don’t want to read books in español!!) • AP Computer Science A (okay this class will be easy :) )

My school offers roughly 23 AP classes and I feel so pressured to take a lot of them. The only one offered freshmen year is APUSH and I’m not interested in history so I didn’t take it. The only way I’ll be able to take at least 10 would be to take 2-3 my sophomore year, but I’m worried since I’ve never taken any before. I’m a math and science person so I know I’m taking AP stat, but I don’t know what else. Suggestions?

PLEASE READ THIS LOL I just checked my ap scores today my teacher didn’t teach in ap comp sci either but i self studied really hard. I was so sad to see that I got a 2 oh well I also self studied for ap Spanish (didn’t take the class and am not a native speaker but my parents are) and got a 5 I was a sophomore last year and also took the sat I got a kinda shitty score a 1340. I really wanna go to stanford but it lookin like nah. I’m varsity in XC and Track and do CSF. I’m planning on self studying this yr till i get a 1500 on the SAT. I also took the math level 2 subject test and im waiting for that to come in. This incoming yr I will be a junior. I’m taking AP Bio, AP World, AP lang, AP Calc BC, AP Stats, and APUSH. Any advice? Do I have a shot at Stanford? Sos lol i wanna go to college

To be perfectly honest, Ap classes are the standard level for most other countries. Physics C mechanics and E&M with differential and integral Calculus are the standards for grade 12 where I live. Regardless, good job on the scores.
