That alternate head is based on the Decepticon Miner design which we never actually see transform in the show but they are a bit closer to the ground Vehicon design as they never had wings. The Miners do also have slightly different shoulders however that is different from either of the Vehicons suggesting a different kind of vehicle mode if they did transform. It's too bad they didn't remold the entire figure into the Decepticon Miners.

I like how the Vehicons in RID 2015 had their own unique color.

The Vehicons' arm design got a permanent L shape, so Hasbro made their elbows as ball-joints (not those hinge-joints you'd used). Which has supreme movement! In/out, forward/back, and 360°!

Smashing review. The only KOs I have in my collection are APC Toys Prime toys. They are awesome! I’m really hoping they reissue a 2.0 version of Beast Hunters Soundwave.

I believe the tailgate/head transformation mechanism goes too deep into the torso to allow for a waist swivel. I'm very surprised APC hasn't adopted the fan elbow mod into their mold to allow better-looking arm positioning! I wonder if they will also make the while & black "elite" air vehicon at some point?

I really hope they do a APC Knockout, Ratchet or Shockwave

APC always hits to 11 out of 10. They are my favorite all time 3p ever. Amd honestly the transformation is still on point and better imo then most of this stuff out now. I agree that there should've been a waist swivel but I don't remember them twisting like that in the show? Also the music u have for the pose test fits for these guys lol Steve is more awesome and the guns for the car vehicles is awesome. This is why I love APC. Takara is pricey and we all get that but APC is better and spot on. The ONLY thing I really wanted was a more sleeker front(like a Lamborghini front end to the alt mode) but I'm wishing lol Great review as always. I'm so grateful that APC is rejuvenating Tf Prime. I honestly can't wait to see wheeljack and all they do for him and Predaking! Among others like Breakdown...oddly enough we still don't have Bulkhead tho... BUT I'm super excited to see what they do for Deadwing and his brother! They needed better qc and weapons.

For tightening ball joints, I suggest taking some paper towel and putting it in the socket. That’s easier to do and I’ve found is a better solution than floor polish

I still have my original car mold of this figure, not the jet one, and it still holds up today. the engineering in the legs is amazing.

2:33 This head belong to the Mining Class Vehicon and they were a lot smaller from the others.

I love this figure I have the originals including the silver elite, which I hope apc will make. I ordered 2 of these from shows and they should arrive next week. I'm actually thinking of getting a third!

hope they do an elite/seeker version of them sure only repaint and probs minor retool of weapons to give more elite or take opportunity to bring out custom molds of the Cybertron weapons, can also have more custom heads or alternative Starscream clone cone heads as lil ref to Animated

The most of Transformers prime I've seen are the still images in this video. But this transformer looks sick and will definitely be added to my collection

Yeah the second head is the Miner variant, I hope they do one to be honest, since it was based on the land Vheicon but had different shoulders, head, color, so would be cool to see it in figure form.

You could of mention the miner head sculpt and the smaller guns are apparently "pre-order bonus"? I spent too much so I can't buy him right now but I won't be suprised if those acessories are not including in the next batch in a year or two later.
