whatever the outcome, kita sebagai pengguna kena bijak. tiap perbuatan kita akan disoal kelak. pastikan kita tahu apa yang kita buat. jangan jadi golongan yang hanya mengikut tanpa ilmu. rasa betul je ikut. orang ni buat kita pun buat. nampak macam hype kita pun join. yang jelas Israhell memang patut diperangi oleh kita sebagai umat Islam. Untuk kemanusiaan dan untuk agama kita. xperlu nak main bangsa. mereka-mereka yang membawa isu bangsa ni sebenarnya munafik. ambil kesempatan main isu untuk upkan diri mereka yang akhirnya membawa kepada perpecahan. yang untung mereka yang berpecah adalah kita. so jangan hilang fokus. jangan jadi golongan yang mengikut je. guna akal yang Tuhan bagi.

Leen nailed it all the way especially with the point on "social responsibility" of influencers to create awareness on embracing NEW lifestyle by supporting LOCAL with zero involvement of the "colonizers brands". There's no way we are aiming for BDS only. It has to be BDS list AND all of the involved consumers products/services. While many on this podcast still try to stay on the safe zone to provide statement, Leen went all in to address how every action matters, every statement made matters, & every involvement count regardless on the % of complicity. Complicit is complicit. There's no other way to go around it. Sustainable & targeted aim should remain precisely be mentioned as the major list under BDS AND all other involved products are NOT WRONG for the consumers to go extra miles to go all in rather than saying "not on BDS list" as certain people might interpret it as "it's consider acceptable for them to continue shop from the involved companies AGAIN" when they do have their own fair share in the ongoing geno.
I also understand why BDS doesnt do EVERYTHING. Bds can be easily sued. They need so much proof and they should be protected too. And also choosing targets is very clever. They are organized and shouldnt be bombarded why not in the list. Also, consumer so difficult to remember. It is good to have target list! But yes, as consumer we do choose the extras that we want to boycott from the news and new info that we get

Takat KFC, mcd etc tu aku malas dh nk boikot, zakat berjuta diorang bayar, pekerja muslim,OKU, ibu tungggal, student bersepah diorang hire...diorang ni bukan org senang..kita dok laung boikot, boikot smbil melantak lamb chop...nonsense.

Big corporations can choose to divest but they don't and even oppress staff unions that show support. BDS is just only a method of protesting. Many pro-palestinians accept they were wrongfully (illegally, cruelly) terminated, get sacked publically but they rather work in another place that allows them to speak out for the oppressed. It is different here though
