kid you not i jumped off the map and killed myself thinking i could double jump and wallrun and i popped my ult thinking scorch would come down only to trampoline myself into the ring
apex got me into playing titanfall and i played so much titanfall that when i played apex again i kept trying to wall run. and i had literally played apex since launch
"'Out of ammo'... what does this mean? As in you have no more ammo left? No, that couldn't be, that's a ridiculous concept after all... Must be talking nonsense."
@@ilovequake833 this is a video about Titanfall 2. We're obviously jot talking about team fortress. It would make sense if the abbreviation was somewhere out there without context, but it isn't here.
Here's a nice FAQ for those who are asking about certain guns. First off, Titanfall and Apex are in the same universe. This isn't a fan theory, and it isn't a secret easter egg. It's like CoD World at War being in the same universe as CoD Black Ops. Just like the two CoD titles (made by Tryarch) Apex and TF2 are made by Respawn. Just because it isn't a direct sequel doesn't mean it can't be a continuation of the general lore. With that out of the way, time for gun facts! The CAR, L-Star, Volt and Charge Rifle are all in Titanfall 2 as well, but at the time of recording where not in Apex Legends yet. The Charge Rifle didn't need to reload in Titanfall 1 and 2 The Charge Rifle is a anti-titan weapon in Titanfall 1 and 2. The Charge Rifle was a one hit kill in Titanfall 1 and 2 The Charge Rifle in Apex has a low damaging beam, while in Titanfall it just charges then fires The G7 was a sniper at the time of recording, but was always an AR in Titanfall 2. The Peacekeeper, Prowler, Havoc, Sentinel, 30x30 Repeater, and the Bow are all Apex legends originals. The Double Take in Titanfall 2 actually shoots a third invisible shot that the dev's made visible in Apex Legends to avoid confusion. The weapons in Apex Legends have smaller magazine sizes, this is because it fits the slower paced looter shooter gameplay of a Battle Royal. Plus smaller magazines makes extended mags a lot more balanced. (Imagine how much ammo you would chew through if the R99 still had it's 40 rounds per mag!) There is two versions of the Wingman in Titanfall 2. The normal variant, and the elite variant that had higher damage and was change into a primary weapon in a latter update. The Mozambique is actually a viable option in Titanfall 2 with it's larger mag size and rapid fire capability. It was also changed into a primary weapon in a later patch. The Longbow DMR is a hitscan weapon in Titanfall 2 instead of being a projectile weapon in Apex Legends (meaning you don't have to lead your shots in Titanfall 2) The CAR didn't change ammo types in either Titanfall games. The CAR had the best hipfire in Titanfall 2, arguably better than ADS. A few anti-titan weapons are in the files of Apex Legends and have yet to be added.
@@mooch1583 the thing is, not in Titanfall. In Titanfall, the Mozambique was a one shot kilk, when the top pellet hit the head. If missed, it takes just 2 shots
considering the fact that you can load the exact same ammo into a peacekeeper and have 6 shots, I highly doubt that you can't fit more than 8 into that huge ass magazine.
Having the flatline having a flat line of recoil would be a bad idea cause many legends don't have that vertical movement to get away from the line of fire.most or even all of the legends way to escape is to run left or right.
And shroud said it's probably the worst gun in Apex after the Mozambique because the vertical recoil is so much stronger than any other weapon. Really ironic honestly. Alternator bugs me most because I thought the dual barrel horizontal recoil felt so cool and unique in Titanfall
Donses it’s insane it’s literally a primary weapon that’s how good it is it also has 6 rounds in a clip, is full auto, and does more damage than the Eva/ peacekeeper
@@adiris8827 I agree. It has a borderlands cartoony feel to it but I do wish the guns sounds were a bit better. Cant lie tho hearing an r99 shredding through its clip around the corner from you is a terrifying sound
@@sirbirbton tbh they should give it close to its original damage, and allow for it to have ammo capacity upgrades. Would actually make it useable in apex and it would be able to compete with the eva and Peacekeeper
@@scarecrow0774 let's be honest in this game it's a side arm in titanfall it started as a side arm when originally designed it was ment to be a side arm
@@HowdyBones oh it is definitely a sidearm, but even as a sidearm I'd rather have the re45, prowler(which is honestly on par with the 99) or even the p2020 over the mozembeque. Even just an extended clip would make it more usable.
@@scarecrow0774 then it would get rid of the trifecta making the name pointless because the gun means 1 to the head two to each side giving it anymore would ruin it
I remember my first game in apex, I tried calling for my tone, but I got something called a care package instead? Super weird Edit: hey guys look, I was trying to get all the pinup girls and was using tone at the time. Now I use aimbot legion. I know I sinned but at least I don't use smart pistol
Bom Dia I couldn't hear you over the "Salvo core ready" Honestly Tone is fine, Already got nerfed. It's a fun titan to run, sorry but not sorry. As for spitfire though...
@@NexusBladeGaming spitfire is trash on pc and tone is fucking bs on pc cause she can hit your weak point from the other side of the map while behind a sheild with ease
Apex really messed up with the recoil patterns of the flatline and alternator. It’s supposed to have horizontal recoil. Would be unique if they actually kept the full horizontal recoil pattern instead of adding vertical and horizontal mixed together.
That kinda recoil is fine for a fast-paced movement shooter like TF2, where hitting targets is more difficult as is, but in apex, everyone plays on the ground.
@@ghostxzer2119 Consider their backgrounds. Respawn never charged anyone for dlc's as for EA they charge 50$ for previous games dlc's. Also EA's content is a massive shithole. Deploying unfinished games and charging us $100+ Do you see the difference?
I actually really like Titanfall 2, and im sorry to say, but imagine only firing 2 bullets out of your "double take" this comment was made by apex gang (sorta)
Fun thing I enjoy doing. If I see campers in TF2, I assume they come from apex. So I run Mozambique (which is good in TF2 but they hopefully don’t realize that) and hunt them down with the Mozambique.
Titanfall 2 Kraber is an absolute meme of a gun, but it's fun to use. I don't play Apex because none of my friends have it and I don't feel like queueing with randoms. Is the Kraber overpowered over there?
@@AreHorsesReal 1. Wdym "meme of a gun"? 2. No, I think it's pretty balanced. It's hard to get, one copy can shoot only 12 rounds, 4 bullets magazine and it's a bit slower, I think. It's one hit down only in the head, if you have body shield I think lvl 2 (prehaps 3) at least you can survive a shot not to head. And it's just as hard to use, considering the kinda slow and quite heavy bullets and limited occasions to practice in action.
Hu Be Overall I think titanfalls the more special of the two but both have there own merits and considering they are completely different genres comparing them seems unfair.
Of all the people making videos like this, tigerfield, pc gaming videos, etc, you're the best. And the one who's been around for the longest, mr mar89tum. 😂
Titanfall is 1 word so it's technically abbreviated as Tf2 whereas Team Fortress 2 has 2 proper nouns and as such is abbreviated as TF2 sadly no one uses the Tf2 and now I sad
@@Watzerzandy no there is not a wingman elite in apex The wingman elite in titanfall 2 instead of having hipfire that the bullet can go anywhere the elite just goes into a straight line infront of u
One thing I like that they’ve done between TF2 and apex is that they have adjusted the DOF so that those ammo indicators on the guns are still in focus when aiming down sight. Makes then a lot more usable imo.
Leonardo Rinaldi it sounded like you were mocking people that liked titanfall. But if you actually meant that you preferred titanfall over Apex than ok, but the way you put it sounded like you disliked Titanfall
Additional fun tidbit of information related to this: In the P2020's default skin in Apex, it has P2019 written on the bottom left corner of the barrel. However, in every other skin (excluding legendaries) it says P2020.
I still don't get why the Alternator has such an insane upwards kick... I loved it in TF2 due to it's unique recoil... in Apex Legends it's just the usual smg thing...
My guess is they want you to grab barrel stabilizers in game, but for weapons that cant have em like the Flatline, should have less recoil over all IMO
TF2's alternator and flatline has the correct recoil pattern. TF2 horizontal recoil/Apex Legends vertical recoil, how do the devs not realize this mistake?
@@bobbytheepicguy how is it balancing? All they did was remove the flatline and alternator's uniqueness then made them with the exact same recoil pattern as every other weapon. The only uniquely firing weapons(before the charge rifle) were energy weapons with a circular firing pattern
@@kirayamato3181 because apex cares a lot more about gunplay, especially at range, than titanfall does i dont really see how uniqueness has anything to do with balancing
@@wolf-xf6hf Well it's his fault. He needs to do a better job than that. If he really wants to stay anonymous he'd taken that into account. And the reason he didn't delete my comment proves that he actually doesn't care. And I have no problem with him deleting my comment.
This video helped me realize something about this game's mechanics that will help me become more elite whenever I can play again. Whenever you leave at least one bullet in the chamber when you reload there is one animation that doesn't happen than just reloading after emptying the whole clip. Damn how many times I lost while doing the full reload crap. This was a real help even when it wasn't meant to be
Weapon reload animations were made by the same person who worked on titanfall 2, so that's why you will see similarities. I think might have seen him his channel is Hyper and now he works for Call of Duty. He also did reload animations for Call of Duty Modern Warfare.
diddy_dante MRVN’s not a character it’s just a type of robot and Blisk didn’t die in titanfall 2 so neither of those examples are the same, Viper did, people say he could be alive but unconscious as cooper survives the crash in BT and Viper was in his northstar but if you shot him with an Lstar then he explodes into a meat fart so it’s pretty obvious he’s dead. That said as a gen 18 northstar main I would still love to see him in Apex, it’s not like that game makes any sense anyway.
@@pododododoehoh3550 The IMC could have found his body and transferred Vipers consciousness into a simulacrum body (Well if you didn't use L-Star to kill him)
In 8:41, you could've fired the double take sniper rifle at a random wall to showcase its ricochet special effect. This weapon and the L-Star were one of the MOST monstrous weapons in both Titanfall 1 and 2 before getting some reworks for Apex Legends... 🤔
@@catchamp1880 also in Apex there's up to 60 players in a match, so I'm guessing the developer intentionally reduced the graphics slightly so the game can run smoothly
Shouldn’t you be doing a damage comparison? I think it speaks louder when the LSTAR turns someone into a cloud of pink mist in one game and barely kills anything in the sequel.
Because its an 8-Guage shotgun. That's why 12-Guage shotguns like the saiga-12 or aa-12 have 12 in their names. Each Guage is a pellet, so the Eva shoots 8 pellets per shot
on its own it’s not a bad game at all and can be fun af at times imo, but TF2 outclasses it heavily in almost every regard and they are so similar it’s almost impossible to ignore
