Freya is really good at hiding her anger, absolutely nothing in her face gives anything away even though if bell had lost the war game she most likely would have just done the same thing she did with Ishtar and flat out took out the Apollo familia

That is because it is 100% true. In the novel where this scene is based off its revealed that Hestia didn't want any other members of her Familia since she wanted to keep Bell for herself. So she really had no one to blame but herself. He was real petty. He has a hundred children and she only has one and he was so scared of giving her a fighting chance. If the reason for the fight was because of the bar brawl then he should not only be fighting Hestia's familia but also those of the Hephaestus, Soma and Takemikazuchi familias since they all were part of Bell's party that night.
The reason is well, he just wants bell out of godly lust. Probably because he heard the news he leveled up in only a month and beating the lv 17 boss, and probably the artemis quest (movie if that is cannon).
I'm not sure petty is the right word. Letting Hestia have helpers is huge isn't it? His strongest is a lv3, so if Hestia got help from level 5 or 6s he'd get stomped easily. For comparsion, Ryu, the level 4 elf helper, could take on half of his children.

Well Hephaestus and Takemikazuchi Familias I can agree on that but Soma Familia is a no, remember they left Lili for dead in the dungeons and they hate her just for the heck of it. If anything the Soma Familia compared to the others so far morally speaking is the worst of all the Familias in Orario and really the only good ones morally speaking are Loki's, Takemikazuchi's, the blue haired guy (I can't remember all the names), Hermes's, Hephaestus's, and obviously Hestia Familia. Funny that those are so far the only familias who have members that are genuinely good people which is backed up by their respective gods being good people themselves. Then I guess Freya is a good person to some extent albeit personal motivations. Though I'm sure the god of wine Soma is a good person too but it's too bad all his members are not. Ishtar Familia doesn't really travel out of their borders too much so their members are neither good nor bad but then you know. Heck there are even some good people within Apollo familia too but likely they were taken in against their will.

Well if bell aunt is still alive and this happen. Apollo familia and Ishtar familia will be wipe out by a single level 7 even Freya when he made move to take bell when he reaches level 5. Even Ottarl is not a match with Bell's auntie, she only gets bottleneck at level 7 and can't level up to level 8 and above due to her illness.. the same illness that caused bells mother becoming bedridden. She is a sorcerer but unlike ordinary sorcerer or magic users she is as faster than speed type adventurer like bells, Ais & Freya's vice captain. It's due to her ability to copy speed type spells. Like others she can also use concurrent channeling but unlike other caster she can shorten the chants shortening the can't may cause for the spell failure to manifest or decreasing it's full strength and efficiency but with her skill even a shortened chants are still so powerful. She beat riveria & fin when they were level 5 in a 2 on 1 battle. Bell's auntie is expected to exceed both Hera & Zeus familia's #1 AKA commanders/captain due to her unique skill If they were all in the same level. And only next to their strength due to level gap of 2 level a gap of a level 7 vs level 9. Well good thing that Zeus is the one who take care of bell If not he will never aquire realis phrase and argonaut skills. ALONE in a single DAY which is Soo fast. And when he return homes and hestia updated his status his ability that are still not ALL-S becomes ALL-SS and he also level up to level 5. When he reach level 5 he is strog enough to join either Freya or Loki familia's dungeon exploration at DEEP FLOORS the place where asterius trains LOL. Which also means he is strong enough for Ais and consider as one of the top adventurer. That's why Freya made a move to get bell to her familia at level 5. So from appollo vs Hestia familia To Ishtar vs Hestia & Freya Familia To Loki vs hestia familia To Freya vs hestia familia. Hestia familia grows stronger as long as bell, welf & haruhime grows stronger. Even if welf and haruhime level up very slowly. Welf highest ranking magic weapons can kill a level 5 or lower level 6 specially if they are not strength type adventurer like Gareth. Look at Gareth he gets frozen unable to move but completely alive I doubt fin or riveria will survive welf top tier magic swords Riviera surely will die and if fin survive he will be severely injured. And what happens if welf aquire more blacksmith skills as he level ups LOL? That's why his Hephaestus favorite. If Ottarl is currently the pinnacle of adventurer then Welf is the pinnacle of Blacksmith even tsubaki's magic sword she made and a level 4 is so inferior of welf's magic sword he also have a bloodline skill a anti magic skill. Then haruhime ability is the rarest which is level boost or permanent level increase of a whole familia.. her ability is being kept secret to other gods and adventurer she is weak but if he reaches higher level she can level boost 9 targets and her level boost level increase or status inc might also improve. Ais and fin skills are status boost while haruhime is a actual +1 level and a status boost vs 1 single level gap is massive it's like a fight with a level 5 vs level 6 where a level 5 have zero chance of winning unless he/she have a rare skill that fill up the gap in strength.

@@alexreven3690 if it was a character that was *inspired* by Apollo and had his own name then I wouldn't care, but this is an established god with it's own lore. THAT is my problem. The fact that several anime series use mythical creatures that they fail to portray in the historical way. That is what bugs me. As for your "don't like - don't watch" policy, I wouldn't be too worried. I'm not planning on watching it either way since from what I've seen the main character's spine is compareable to a slinky and the story is your run-of-the-mill "I nEeD t0 kiLl tHe DeMon King!"

Ottarl is the one you're thinking of. That said, he could probably just take any random level 4 (Raul, for example) from the Loki Familia and be just fine.
Well... Considering how Loki and Hestia has been bickering everytime they meet... I don't think Loki would help Hestia... Bell training with Ais is something that is totally a secret...
Those 4 episodes were such a pity... Let's hope now an actual story will take place, instead of "How we took place in Apollo's mansion, oh look there is a pool, let's have a battle to see who will be the first Bell-kun will put some sunscreen on".....
