Awesome man! Glad you had a great Christmas! My channel has everything I’ve ever done to that bike on here. Some things i took back off after i put them on because i didn’t like them. But if you ever have any problems, have your dad hit me up. I know every single nut and bolt on that bike, so if it ever gives you problems, let me know. Merry Christmas and safe riding!!
great video you made it so much easier to put my together i love how you went step by step all the way throught i havent found any videos like yours keep up the good work
Your video was so helpful! Thank you. I got it all put together by myself today. I just have to change the oil, gas it up and then rip around! What was your break-in process?
Jimmy Martin oh the county sheriff knows me by name and knows exactly where i live. Lol. I get the cops called on us quite often, but I’m not breaking any laws or anything so they just come out and tell us people are complaining. We go home for about 30 minutes and head back out 🤣
i have a lot of questions because i am new to dirt biking and gettting this bike. first off, don’t make fun of me but what does a clutch do and how do i use it. secondly at 22:45 is that hose thing already attached and if so how would you cut part of it off and reconnect it? please reach out and great video man!
Alright the clutch is for shifing gears like 1 through 4 depemfing on the bike and the tube is supposed to be taken off u also use the clutch for kickstarting on bikes
hi, been watching some of your videos and it is very informative. I have a question regarding the Apollo X18. I am thinking of buying this one for my 10yo kid (4ft 10 / 90 pounds) but I do believe it is a little bit tall (but I don't have much choices where I live and I want the 17/14 wheels as he will be mostly riding in sand). Is there a way to lower the seat height by a few inches to bring it to about 30in (by adjusting or replacing the rear shock)? Thank you
Matt Knight thanks Matt! If you wouldn’t mind, please subscribe! Makes me want to keep making more videos for you guys to watch!! Thanks for the comment!
auto standed dush works racing thanks for the support! Be on the lookout this weekend for a new video this weekend. I’ve had a couple minor issues with it, and I’m addressing all of them in my next video to show you and tell you how to fix them!! Thanks again!
Engine does not need breaking in. Remove the chinese oil from shipping. Run a good 6 or so hours on fresh oils then change that one and go onto normal maintenance. Breaking in an engine is not needed anymore in modern days.
Lloyd Christmas good question! I use a very light coat of all purpose grease on axles. I did actually forget to do this in the video, but went back the next day and did this. I highly recommend buying the upgraded mikuni carburetor, as the one that comes on these machines aren’t very good. It has been having problems staying running so i ordered the upgrade and put it on last night. Rode for 2 hours this evening and was perfect straight out of the box! Here’s the link: www.ebay.com/itm/Mikuni-VM22-Carburetor-Filter-for-110cc-125cc-140cc-Dirt-Pit-Bike-SSR-YCF-AY-/113190300614?pageci=f31dd18c-b752-40a4-86c3-93050409d57d&epid=2165081166
Lloyd Christmas also, if you browse through my videos, i have one breaking a carb down and doing a clean on it. I’ll make one on how to properly adjust one. Be on the lookout. I’ll get one posted soon.
Hi, I'm looking into getting one of these but I have no experience with building bikes or have any tools. Do you still think I should get it? Also great video 👍.
I have the apolo x14 125 cc the same thing happens to me from one day to the next when turning it on it turns off by itself, do you know what I can do? I will eat it recently I don't know if at the bottom the black lever goes up or down, I need help please I don't know why it turns itself off when you turn it on
Jessica Cuello hey Jessica thanks for the comment. The black lever on the side of the carb is your choke lever. If you lift the lever up, it turns the choke on. You might need to turn the choke on when the engine is cold. But before you start riding make sure the lever is all the way down. Try turning the screw on the side of the carburetor (tighten) to make the idle a little higher and see if that helps you out.
Awesome video bud I've just gone to the website you left the link for but there is no DB-X18 they have DB-X16 is that the same or is that a kids version?
@@TynkaTyme oh okay awesome thanks mate I'll just wait for them to get more stock. I've also subscribed and like your video 👍 I also have a channel but it is for a video game the division if you can please check it out 👌
Hello let me start out by saying the great video and thank you I have the same exact dirt bike set mine is green and yours is red question the shifter when I put it on the same way it's like moves around is it supposed to clamp down more what the bolt do I need to pinch the shifter clamp tight with channel locks or something it Wiggles around a little you know I know it's almost flying Cruise and I'm blocked writing everything down to weather blue thank you
@@TynkaTyme thanks for replying and sorry about the typo I forgot to proofread it but anyway yes the stock shifter it come with the bike and it looks like there is a gap or I can be pinched together and in this group installed I'm thinking maybe you'll want wiggle around as much after I tighten the screw down still Jiggles around Mike is you know should be tighter I think
I just ordered one of these. All my friends just got 250s were all beginners and gonna start hitting trails. Will the 125 keep up? I'm only like 5"7 155
souless420 250’s will our run the 125, it has double the motor. Although I’ll think you’ll take them on the start. These are very torquey. And you’ll have more control over yours as it’s a lot lighter
Eddie's Fish tank no problem thanks for watching! Subscribe if you haven’t already! Once i hit 1k subs I’ll be giving one of my bikes away (same bike in this video)
Tynka Tyme damn that’s crazy I just was on that site a few days ago I ordered a X18 off it but then they told me it was no longer in stock. So I was searching all over for one then found this site that has X19s in stock ,that’s what I was originally looking for. Waiting on the to come hopefully its what I’m expecting
Creed Wick sorry that happened to you. I was actually on the fence between the 18&19. The only reason why i went with the 18 is because i owned one before and knew they were pretty tough bikes. When yours comes in, i highly recommend draining the oil and replacing it with good quality oil, and do the carb/airfilter upgrade. If you look through the other comments on this video i posted the link to it. Night and day difference with the carb. Good luck! If you have any questions about assembly or maintenance feel free to comment and I’ll get back to you! Or you can search Tynka Tyme on Facebook and follow my page there and message me through Facebook! Good luck and stay safe!
