I know, possessive case Is not the easiest thing. Consider getting a tutoring session from me or anyone else who knows how to explain grammar well. SAT will present you with a lot of possessive questions.

it wont be oceans' as oceans' means that there is a position it means absorb belongs to oceans and that would be sensless so for multiple ocean we used oceans instead of ocean

yes you are right, oceans is plural. but nothing belongs to oceans, oceans belong to the world. you only put an apostrophe on the thing doing the owning, not the thing being owned. let me know if this helped!
