SAT Grammar on the Writing and Language section is pretty easy and logical apart from the topic of Faulty Comparisons or Illogical Comparisons - I call this topic Apples to Apples.

The main premise of Faulty Comparison or Illiogical Comparison is that when things are compared, they have to be the same type of things.
For example, train and traffic are both things, but they couldn't be compared like this: " Any train is faster than traffic." The train is a means of transportation while traffic describes vehicles moving on a road or public highway.
Instead, we can either say "Any train is faster than a car because of traffic" or "the time it takes me to get there by train is shorter than the time it takes me to drive." Both are acceptable alternatives.
